Charles Leclerc makes his testing debut as a Formula 1 race driver today.

His stellar rise through the junior ranks has certainly created a lot of expectation and hype around the Ferrari-backed youngster and it's days like this where the 20-year-old will start to deepen his knowledge of what it's going to take to prosper in F1.

WTF is Horner going on about , Ferrari and Mercedes are working has one team these days :wenger::wenger:

They are fighting for the same thing so he's basically right.
If Honda by some magic manages to cloose the gap by the end of the season, they'll sign 5 year deal with them and he'll change his tune.

Mercedes and Ferrari have spent millions to develop hybrid engines. They would be stupid to say sure, let's go back to NA V12 so companies like Mclaren and Aston Martin who don't even make engines can brand Cosworth or Ilmor engines as their own and build their image practically for free.

Oil burning is the real issue.

Bad weather not allowing the cars to have good lap times. Let's see if it improves in the afternoon.

He's going to be a star, I'm sure of it. Walked the title in F2 last year, I'm slightly disappointed he's in the Sauber rather than the Haas this year though.

Big year for McLaren.. Surely they have to compete with Red Bull without any excuses..

I have a feeling we might see a better Honda reliable engine on the Toro Rosso this year..

McLaren literally never miss a chance to bungle testing.

Listen to this podcast. Honda wanted a bit longer engine fearing there might be reliability issues but Mclaren said no so they had to make the engine shorter. I'm betting they had no say in anything. They were probably just told to make the engine small enough to fit in the back. Zero compromises from their side. Size zero and all that crap...

Today MClaren spent whole afternoon in the garage because of this:

Yesteday Alonso was saying "6 teams are in big trouble" to distract attention from their wheel issue. You can't make up a person like him. So incredibly bitter.

Alonso the whiner, Boulier the incompetent and Brown, the guy who owns every motorsport media outlet feeding us with Mclaren crap on daily basis. How can anyone root for that bunch..

So F1 launching their own version of NFL game pass or WWE Network. Live races, huge archive selection, on board with any driver... and not available in UK till 2025 earliest due to bending over for the Sky money

So F1 will have there own channel, that you will have to pay for, right now I get Sky sports and get the F1 for no extra money.

$10 a month sounds too good to be true. Got to wonder how popular the sport will even be in the UK after seven years of exclusive shit coverage from Sky.

It means nothing, but Ferrari has done ok so far.

Sitting in a hotel about 4km from the circuit and we've got a white over this morning.
The snow has fell constantly all night and has stuck.
