Missed the best part of the season in what appears to be the most exciting race so far due to a family function on my gf's side. To make it worse, my Dad is at the race and is texting me asking what's happening because every other lap the standings have been switching and I've had no idea

If I remember right the clock continues to run but they add on the time during which the race was stopped, essentially the same as stopping the clock.
But I could be wrong, I've not looked at he regs for years.
