Do you want the ESL to happen?

Watch there be some preseason Emirates Cup thing involving these 12 clubs fulfilling some contractual obligation on the sly.

I think this might actually happen.

They've maximised profits since 2003, and the ESL was going to be their cash cow. Now the cow is dead, they've got nothing left to gain.
This Has to happen now after all this. This doesn't stop for us fans now. We have to drive these cnuts and Woodward out of our club

Exactly. I started watching back in the 90s when the Italians and the Spanish clubs were the top spenders. We couldn't compete with them on that front. We couldn't afford wages for the likes of Kluivert, Batistuta etc.

They offloaded their unwanted players to the Premier League. Retiring players like Casiraghi, Ravanelli. Players who failed there like Henry, Bergkamp. The English league lost the likes of Mark Hughes, Gary Lineker and Ian Rush to Barcelona.

Still, we did it the right way. Shared TV money almost equally amongst our competitors and created a competitive league that many around the world enjoy.

Now Barca and Madrid are skint and their leagues have become so uncompetitive due to TV money distribution that it's unappealing to people. This was what Perez was talking about when he said people want to see competitive matches. The cheek of him when his club is largely responsible for turning La Liga into a joke.

The English 6 have given the Italians and Spanish a way out largely because of how greedy our owners are. The owners of our own United have tarred the legacy of the club at the behest of the struggling continental clubs who used to lord over the English clubs (and for the money as well.) It's kind of heartbreaking.
Spot on. Particularly the bold.

Jesus Christ, what have these shitbags turned our club into? :( We used to have pride and honour to our traditions, to football and to history. People like the Glazers and Woodward acting as representatives of Manchester United is absolutely criminal!
Unlikely but one positive may be Glazers feck off.

If it's a pile of rambling shit like his previous one supporting it, this could be hilarious. Car crash TV.

Hoping Real and Barca are fecked financially for a few years because of this

If this ESL fails and that what it looks like.
Woodward needs to be removed ASAP and pressure put on the Glazers to sell up during the close season, if not sooner.
I read that as Woodward needs to put pressure on Glazers and remove them

 Amateurs all the clubs involved
And eggs on Glazers’ faces. Great!

Fair play to Chelsea and City. So there likely was truth after all to that Tweet from Matt Law.

Pathetic little cnuts, hope they still receive some punishment. The punishment they've received from fans and pundits isn't enough.
Unfortunately, I don't see anything else but the clubs being forgiven and this being forgotten about. I'd also wish for these teams to suffer the consequences, but at this point, there's no legal standing for sanctions against them. We can only hope that the fans continue to voice their dismay at these owners/execs and ensure that they aren't forgiven.

After hammering this shit relentlessly for 2 days now that it looks like its not happening I'll say I hate the Champions League changes but better than this I suppose.

Record signing for each of these PL clubs in the summer and 75% of their fanbases will forget all about this.

Wonder which of Johnson and Neville will be the more relieved that they probably won't even have to pretend to be concerned about foreign ownership for as much as a week. The latter can get back to waxing his carrot about the "awe inspiring" Abu Dhabi sportswashing taking place on several continents.

Not sure why anyone was worried. After all, it was Woodward who was involved in negotiations.

Woodward is a Judas, when this is all said and done i hope the fans never forget!! Him and the Glazers should be run out of town!

Saying that while you are sitting in your 10m castle bought by the oil gulf money. That is why I hate the hypocrisy of footballers. Where were you yesterday? or you knew your club is pulling out now you have the chance?

From feeling like shit on Sunday night, I can't tell you what I'm feeling right now!

It'll look fecking disgusting if it ends up with the only one standing alongside Perez is the fecking Glazers.

Glazers will bail before Kroenke, huge financial gain whilst completely ignoring the sporting aspect won't be given up without a fight.
