Europa League Final | Atalanta vs Leverkusen | Match thread

Don't think Leverkusen are coming back today. They've been really poor.

Fantastic goal from Lookman.

Lookman's had a great time since he joined Atalanta. They'll probably sell him to West Ham for about 60m.

Does Italy get six teams in the CL next season if they win this or does it just stay at five spots?

Italy get 6 unless Atalanta finish top 4.

This has Liverpool at Istanbul comeback written over, isnt it ?

For some reason, I do see Leverkusen struggling just a bit next season. I don't think I've seen them play very convincingly in a lot of matches in the last month or two. And late goals and winners can't be a long term sustainable solution.

The additional space is 'transferable', so yes.

If Fiorentina win the ECL final, 40% of Seria A will play Europe next season

Alonso channelling his inner Pep tinkering like that time he made that random decision to leave out Fernandinho and Rodri in the 2021 CL final

Of the great underdog teams in Europe the last few years (Monaco, Ajax, Napoli and to some extent Salzburg with Haaland) I'm the least impressed with Leverkusen whenever I see them play.

feck sake, why did we sell him.
i ask myself the same. Leipzig too. He's been this good since the moment he landed in Bergamo. That second goal he's scored that like 10 times in 2 years

Why is he giving it to the goal keeper, aren't they on the opposite teams?
