Boniface was amazing in the first half of the season, then went to the AFCON, picked up an injury and has been in and out of the starting 11 through rotation since. You'd kind of expect him to be in the starting 11 but at the same time also maybe not, as he hasn't started all that much since his injury. He actually didn't play a single minute in the 2 games against Roma.

The fatal flaw of Atalanta is great dribblers can break them - Dani Olmo once absolutely brutalized them in CL for Dinamo Zagreb. I guess that front 3 represents Leverkusen's best dribblers? Likewise the choice of Palacios in the middle makes sense in that regard
