Europa League 2011/2012

The spurs game has been pretty enjoyable. Rubin have played some good football and will be a tough prospect in Russia.

Probably the only thursday night channel 5 game that I've ever enjoyed.

Sporting are already through

1.Sporting...9..+5
2.Lazio......2..-1
3.Vaslui.....2..-2
4.FC Zurich..2..-2

Great news and with today´s results Portugal is now ahead of France in the UEFA rankings only behind the top 4 countries. 3 teams in the CL next year already guaranteed.

Europa League needs to be renamed "That football that is on sometimes". The thread doesn't even get bumped.

Birmingham aren't doing very well.

Zigic and Beausejour in particular.

feck Birmingham, watch the Fulham game, it's fantastic. The Cottage also seemed to be on fire at one point. Literally Richard.

I'll go with Fulham for the second half. Can't see Birmingham getting back into this.

Is there any sort of highlights show tonight?

No idea, but if it's anything like the 1st half, it's worth it. Though of course now it's almost guaranteed to be awful and Birmingham will score 6.

Taken from RAWK:

tomgreatrexmp: Utter chaos at fulham. More people than tickets - police have not got a clue and sending people into overcrowded parts of ground.

tomgreatrexmp: Met have completely lost control of situation and don't know what they are doing. Feels dangerous.

tomgreatrexmp: @GregHands @hammersmithandy any idea who the match commander is at Fulham tonight - they have lost control in Putney End. Chaos.

tomgreatrexmp: Still can't get to seat but police now stopped pushing people into crowded entrances to stand. Seems more fans than tickets might be issue

tomgreatrexmp: Thankfully now seems under control. Might even get to see second half of game. Fulham apparenty winning...

tomgreatrexmp: Not felt this concerned at football in many years - there will be questions to be asked of police after what seen here tonight.

tomgreatrexmp: @martynpatrick don't know - can't get into stand. Suddenly lots of police turned up. Hopefully get it sorted at HT

It's still fun at Fulham though. End to end shizzle. Riise freekicks on the edge of the box now.

Nicely-worked goal, that.

Wisla to go out tonight, contrast to Legia who secured qualification with a win over Rapid Bucharest.

Looks like there are thousands of empty seats, perhaps in the away end?

This looks like the reason why, mate:

StanCollymore Stan Collymore
Wisla fans been taken from various stands into the main body of support behind the goal.

On the plus side, Wisla's fans are awesome. Outsinging Fulham all the way.

English challenge being given a yellow, one footed but studs up.
