Haaland agreed to move to Dortmund on the proviso a modest buyout clause would be inserted into his contract, allowing him to move 2 years later for sacks full of cash. Don't for one moment believe Haaland wasn't entirely complicit with this. If there wasn't a buy out clause then Raiola would be behaving in the exact same way.The difference is Pogba enables Raiola, there's nothing Raiola says that Pogba's not already aware of and is approving him to say. Early days of course but so far there's very little coming out of Raiola in regards to Haaland and even Haaland himself has shot down rumours of him going anywhere this summer
It was the same with Zlatan and Mkhitaryan when they we here we heard nothing coming out of Raiola in regards to them either

You are hearing nothing of Halaand moving because Railo knows no one is going to bother to buy him this summer when they can get him way cheaper next summer ata fix fee. When that wasn't the case last January Raiola was publicly holding talks with the likes of Real and Barca. Not once did Halaand shoot them down. The difference is Pogba enables Raiola, there's nothing Raiola says that Pogba's not already aware of and is approving him to say. BingoYou've got to be fecking shitting me. Zlatan leaving Ajax? Dortmunds complaints about Raiola and Mkhi when we signed him?
Haaland and Raiola are perfectly happy with the situation, knowing that they can get the maximum out of any deal next summer. There's no reason, whatsoever, to push for a move when it's likely that only one, maximum two clubs, can afford the transfer fee.
100%. One just has to look at how he handled Donarumma's stay at Milan and exitHaaland agreed to move to Dortmund on the proviso a modest buyout clause would be inserted into his contract, allowing him to move 2 years later for sacks full of cash. Don't for one moment believe Haaland wasn't entirely complicit with this. If there wasn't a buy out clause then Raiola would be behaving in the exact same way.
Fully agree. Raiola is Pogbas employee, not the other way around. The difference is Pogba enables Raiola, there's nothing Raiola says that Pogba's not already aware of and is approving him to say. And some here loves Pogba so much everything is always someone else but his fault. Some of you hate Pogba so much everything is always his fault
Yeah massive amounts. It's not as if the player has very recently moved to Dortmund with the sole intention of moving on for a big fat fee, that our very own club refused to sign him because they didn't want that exact clause inserted into his contract for this very reason, or that Raiola has a long and colourful history of behaving in the exact same way with dozens of other clients. That's all speculation. Exactly Haaland to be the exception to the rule, despite everything previous mentioned, is the safe bet...massive amounts of speculation
It seems like Dortmund are doing a bit of flirting with Chelsea.

He's pointing out that duplicity. Wanting Pogba to be complicit with the actions of his agent while being simultaneously agreeable to the signing of Haaland, who has the same agent, is entirely illogical. And some here loves Pogba so much everything is always someone else but his fault.
The truth is always somewhere in between. Raiola is a fat prick but I'd doubt Pogba is a pure angel manipulated by the fat prick as some here trying their best to sell.
I don't see anything illogical there. He's pointing out that duplicity. Wanting Pogba to be complicit with the actions of his agent while being simultaneously agreeable to the signing of Haaland, who has the same agent, is entirely illogical.
I've never said otherwise. So why are we treating them differently? You don't employ Raiola unless you want Raiola to do Raiola things. There's 101 different agents you can hire to work on your behalf with a far more ethical approach. You select Raiola because he's ruthless and will do whatever he can to get as much money as possible.I don't see anything illogical there.
Haaland and Pogba are not products made by Raiola. They're actually his bosses. As any employee, his job is doing the best possible regarding what his bosses actually want. We simply deal with Haaland and Pogba, through Raiola.
We had Ibra, who was also a Raiola client. Ibra got a serious injury and instead of seeing out his lucrative contract here he decided to mutually terminate his contract and left. Was Raiola so nice to force Ibra to terminate his contract early? No, it's of course on Ibra. Again, Raiola is simply an employee for the players he represents. He might effect them, but the final decision always are theirs.
I don't mind buying Haaland at all if he's half what Ibra is. The important thing here is what Haaland is like. So far, all I've heard is the lad is very professional, smart, a bit weird and crazy for success.

He's also the lad that insisted on a release clause being inserted into his contract with the sole intention of moving 2 years into that contract for an enormous fee. That's fine but running a contract down is bad? Did Haaland's representatives not hold talks with Barca and Madrid a few months ago? Has Haaland once come out and declare he wants to stay at Dortmund, as many fans want Pogba to do? It's no different. Both players want to maximize their success and earnings. One is applauded for it while the other is criticized. I have no problem with either.

Pogba, is another story. We bought him for £89m and now there's a big possiblity of him leaving for nothing. Which not only financially affect the club but also our prestige. You can't see why United fans are not happy? You can't see the difference?
Tbf what Haaland did was the right thing for him, and he's been fair to Dortmund while Pogba has been not to United.
Pogba will have been here for 6 years by the time his contact is up, that's 4 years longer than Haaland. If we were forced to sell him 2 years into the contract, would that somehow make it a better deal? The only difference is Dortmund haven't the opportunity to keep him for longer if they wish, or to set the transfer fee if they decide to sell. All you're doing here is trying to paint a buyout clause as a good thing for the selling club. It's not.Regarding Haaland. It's clear at day one he didn't plan to stay long at Dortmund, that's why there's a release clause. Dortmund agreed to that, they knew what would happen and accepted it. He won't leave for nothing. Either the figure of that release clause or much more money if he leaves this summer. Raiola is looking to sell Haaland now, which would give Dortmund even much more money than the release clause next summer. Why and what Dortmund fans should be unhappy about?

It's always a battle between the club and the player to have the better cards. If you read my posts regarding the Pogba saga, I did say it was our own fault in the first place letting that shit happen. We should have told him either sign a new contract, or feck off, or rot on the bench for two years last summer. We didn't and we surely should learn from that.
Where exactly in my post did I bash him for every single thing of his agent does?FFFs. At what point did Pogba come out and say he doesn't want to sign a new contract? People on here don't only bash Pogba for even wanting to renew, swearing daily how he isn't worthy of a renewal. Yet in the same breath yall want to trash him for having a year left?
Even worse you bash him for every single things his agent does. The very same things he is doing with Halaand. Plus did with Donnarumma. You guys are barking mad.....
This is based on? Your private chat with Ed?We also agreed to a 5+1 deal with Pogba, knowing full well he could walk free at the end of it
That's how a contract works mate. This is based on? Your private chat with Ed?
Nah, my close relationship with Jean-Marc Bosman. You might've heard of him. He was really popular in the mid 90s.This is based on? Your private chat with Ed?
That's how a contract works mate.
You are basically saying from day one every clubs in the world purposely and fully happy letting every players they sign leaving on a free ?Common sense? You understand how a contracts works, right?
I'm saying a player has absolutely no legal obligation to stay beyond their agreed contract, just as a club has absolutely no legal obligation to continue paying a player after the contract expires. From day one every club knows they player could walk away at the end of his contract, just as Dortmund know Haaland could leave 2 years into his contract. Why are you having trouble with this? You are basically saying from day one every clubs in the world purposely and fully happy letting every players they sign leaving on a free ?
I asked you can't you see why United fans are not happy, I've never said it's illegal.I'm saying a player has absolutely no legal obligation to stay beyond their agreed contract, just as a club has absolutely no legal obligation to continue paying a player after the contract expires. From day one every club knows they player could walk away at the end of his contract, just as Dortmund know Haaland could leave 2 years into his contract. Why are you having trouble with this?
You asked me how I would know he could walk free after his contract expired, and made a pissy comment about having private conversations with Ed. Unfortunately, I was compelled to explain the basics of a contract to you.I asked you can't you see why United fans are not happy, I've never said it's illegal.
Do you think we, United fans should be happy about a player we bought for £89m would leave on a free?
Yes, I would have been happy. That way he'd told us clearly at day one he didn't fancy being here for long. If we accept that, we have no reason to complain when he flirting with other clubs. We expected that from day one anyway. You asked me how I would know he could walk free after his contract expired, and made a pissy comment about having private conversations with Ed. Unfortunately, I was compelled to explain the basics of a contract to you.
Not particularly, just like Dortmund fans aren't happy they are forced to sell far and away their best player. Do you think, as a United fan, you would've been happy if Pogba refused to sign unless there was a buyout clause in his contract, and then less than a year later, he instructed his agent to approach other clubs? Because that's what you're justifying.
No you wouldn't. You'd call him a mercenary, you'd say he was using the club. You can't expect anyone to believe that nonsense.Yes, I would have been happy. That way he'd told us clearly at day one he didn't fancy being here for long. If we accept that, we have no reason to complain when he flirting with other clubs. We expected that from day one anyway.
Now I've answered your question. Could you answer mine? Do you think United and United fans should be happy when a player bought for £89m would leave on a free?
Yes/No please like I did.
Hey I said I would. If we accept that, we simply accept being used. It's not like he would force us to buy him even if we don't want to.No you wouldn't. You'd call him a mercenary, you'd say he was using the club. You can't expect anyone to believe that nonsense.
We have no reason to complain if a player serves his full contract either. He has absolutely no obligation to sign a new contract, as we have absolutely no obligation to offer him a new one. The mental gymnastics you're going through here is next level.
I literally answered your question in the post you're quoting. I just didn't lie.
United (sadly) will not get Haaland next season because a lot of other teams will be after him due to his affordability.
Again, the same premise applies to walking away from free after 6 years. We are under no obligation to sign the player that already left on a free once before.Hey I said I would. If we accept that, we simply accept being used. It's not like he would force us to buy him even if we don't want to.
No back to the question. First I didn't see any part in any of your posts you answered my question. And now you're insulting me instead of answering my question clearly as a man, like I did?
Well that tell me a lot about you. We'd better stop here, would be a waste of time anyway.
Calling you out on your bullshit isn't an insult. But it's particularly rich after the pissy comments you made about having private conversations with Ed blew you in your face? Yeah, you don't get to play that card bud.Not particularly, just like Dortmund fans aren't happy they are forced to sell far and away their best player.
You are openly accusing him of being unfair to united based on his agent behaviour. Yet in the same breath have zero problems with that exact same behaviour from that agent in the case of Halaand.Where exactly in my post did I bash him for every single thing of his agent does?
you tell us. You can't have it both ways. You can't lay the blame at Pogba's feet for all his agent does. Then with the same breath praise Halaand for his agent doing the same and even worse to Dortmund. And again, since it was his agent doing so everything is his own fault but Pogba? When he's simply an agent representing his client?
I definitely do.Do you understand the word "represent"?
I dare you and ANYONE accusing Pogba of wanting out United to get us direct quotes of him stating he want to leave in explicit terms. 9/10 times its the media blowing his comments out of proportion. For the question when he said he doesn't want to renew, I hope that you don't think when a player publicly said he wants out for years he'd actually still want to renew his contract and stay?
He's still going to cost around 100m if you factor in all the extra shite to be fair.
If you think he and his agent won't create stories, you're gullible.
