Why not? If the player is happy in the club he won't want to leave.

In the end he hopefully helps City hold off Liverpool from winning the PL while they have Klopp. We weren't winning anytime soon, and anything City wins is basically a big 'meh' anyway since it means less than nothing

Meh. Realistically we're competing with the likes of Spurs and Arsenal for fourth next season. It's a more immediate issue for the title contenders.

By the time we're actually challenging City again Guardiola will hopefully be gone and they'll have dropped a level as a team.

It will be interesting. He will score but I think in the biggest games pep may prefer other players, and haaland won't like that. He is like a better Lukaku and pep is more of a tinker man than tuchel
