Terrifying thought isn’t it. Some of the names we’ve been linked with are frankly tragic. My main takeaway from this is that we allegedly spoke to fecking Roberto Martinez

That’s the spirit.Ineos are muppets. So they wont sack him. And in case they do, you can bet on them appointing another idiot.
I don't see any credible source suggesting anything other than he is staying on.
And leak a few totally underwhelming names to tip the balance of opinion in Erik’s favour! They are going to roll the dice on sticking with him.

In a way, but then a thought Slot was a really underwhelming hire by Liverpool. But I suppose at least it was outside the box and a bit out there. We’re linked to quite a few guaranteed failures. It inspires very little confidence in INEOS thus far.
Looking likely it will be Tuchel if he does get sacked. If Southgate becomes the manager of Manchester United, I'll lose any faith and goodwill in Ineos and stop watching.
It's not worth it.

Wait ‘till Christmas it’ll be another season gone and this circus will continueAlthough they should move him on, I'll be very surprised if they do. After backing him a month ago, their egos won't let them sack him right this minute and they'll let him stay till Christmas.
They'll then sack him before the January transfer window, as they won't want him blowing anymore cash on Anthony type signings.
That's what worries me. The likes of Potter, Southgate, Martinez etc. would all be absolute failures. To even consider them is madness.
Look, it's early in INEOS' reign and I think they've made some massively questionable decisions to-date. I'm not fully writing them off, but I can't say I'm enthused so far.
Nothings happening today, or anytime before the Brentford game, lads.
Quoted just in caseThis is exactly what will happen
Is it the sort of holiday where he's packed up and taken everything he owns and put his house on the market?
Agreed. We are starting to have less and less fans the longer this shit goes on.If INEOS decide to give him to the end of the season even if we remain in 14 position, then good luck to them. It's their money really. The fanbase has already started dwindling. There will come a time when it will tank. No new fans and old fans passing on. Yes, it's that bad.

INEOS appoint the best in the land at board level & we all clamour for elite appointments. It inspires very little confidence in INEOS thus far.

When I read he went on holiday I did wonder if he already knows he is for the axe. It's not an uncommon move to depart abroad before bad news and avoid the press.
Reasonable as ever. No overreactions hereI'm writing them off if he's here for Brentford
He’s 100% going. They would have leaked to the usual journalists before now that he’s still got backing if he was staying. The silence is a killer for ETH.
They wanted him gone in the summer and he survived purely because they couldn’t get Tuchel. This will be the second time they’re having a meeting to discuss the managers position that in itself is ridiculous
I would say this season has already gone, unfortunately.Wait ‘till Christmas it’ll be another season gone and this circus will continue
Our aim should be 4th,which is still achievable if we replace Ten Hag with somebody who is competentI would say this season has already gone, unfortunately.
United are 10 points behind Liverpool already and that's only likely to get bigger. At this point in the season, they're already asking Liverpool to lose 3 games and draw 1, just to get equal. To put that into perspective, they only lost 4 games all season last year.
United have already lost this season, in just 7 games, that City lost all season, 3.
This season is already done, it's more about building for the following season. Again.
