show me a manager who doesn’t ask for players that don’t work out? You think pep hasn’t recycled player after player since he started at city? What United negotiate and pay for a player isn’t on ETH? He actually asked for Antony much earlier in the season where he would have cost less. . United left it until the end of the season to the point Ajax couldn’t have replaced him and we were desperate so we ended up paying over the odds. Similar to Casemiro who wasn’t actually a ETH signing but a last minute panic buy because of Uniteds complete lack of strategy.

Name a club half as big as United that has recruitment as poor as we do over the last 10 years? I’ll wait…

but it’s on the manager. Of course it is, let’s just take the easy option again.

Every manager has players who don't work out. But few seem as proficient as Twn Hag in that regard.

People have been saying its the players for 10 despite the fact we've changed the squad almost twice over by this stage.

A lot of the players doo need to go but that doesn't change the fact this season is largely down to the manager. They aren't mutually exclusive problems.

Bailed out of what exactly? He's just conceded 5 goals to Coventry and Sheffield United in a matter of days. The manner of both wins are further nails in his coffin.
As shocking as this sounds, he could actually still scrape 5th and maybe even CL. I can absolutely see a Spurs collapse at this point when Arsenal paste them.

EtH in! Screw the haters in this thread

Nah, i'm joking, this has been a horrible season and I can see why you all want him out.

More lives than a cat this guy. This game however should still demonstrate why he needs replaced, not buy him breathing space.

He's not been bailed out of anything. Unless the new owners are complete idiots. The last two games has been more damning evidence that he needs to go.

The players routinely bail him out. He's also had luck with decisions. If Bruno wasn't in crazy good form, we'd be even worse.

So United haven’t been awful for the last 11 years? We haven’t played good football in 11 years with numerous proven managers at the helm. Every single manager we have had has ended in a ball of flames. Every single manager has got worse and worse.. because the rot has set in deeper and deeper. It will only get worse until the root issue is solved. It’s beyond simply changing a manager.

pep wouldn’t win the league at man united. Neither would Klopp. Neither would ancelotti.

this is bigger than a managerial change. We need to try something different and actually BACK a manager. No matter how bad it gets, it will take time, it will get ugly, it won’t be pretty. We knew this. We have known this for a long time. Once the rot is cleared and it’s a totally different team/squad/set up, then the excuses run out.

As I said; the owners would have to have a deficit IQ to use the last two games as evidence to keep him. It should be more evidence of why he has to go. It's all total chaos.

Every single manager we've signed has been shite. Maybe it's as simple as that. None of them have gone on to great things after leaving United.

Yes, exactly. There are certain other factors. But, we've appointed managers in a bizarre, directionless manner and not one of them has been remotely good enough. In fact, all of them have had a massive hand in our demise.

We have been poor for 11 years due in no small part to hiring a series of average or past it managers. None of them have went elsewhere and proven their sacking incorrect.

Trying something different would have been sacking the manager before the season went completely tits instead of giving every new manager since Moyes 2-3 years to feck things up good and proper before we eventually pull the trigger 6 months too late.

Thankfully it's nearly over, I'm pretty confident the new regime have seen enough.

There are absolutely other factors, but they don't overweight the fact that we've been signing poor managers, just as we have players like Antony and Sancho. It's not always that complicated and deep. A change in ownership on the football side will hopefully change this cycle for the better.

Erik is in charge of the coaching the motivation and everything in between. I don’t care if you think he didn’t let them in, open your eyes and see this team under his guidance is going absolutely nowhere

I think your sarcasm detector is on the blink mate.

Everything that has to be said has been said.
Today we were bailed out by individual class.
against the 2nd string of Sheffield.

They had given up before the game even started yet we wanted to let them in.

Team looks lost, confused and out of ideas.
