He is an egomaniac. Too big for his boots
More like deluded. Never understood how come sane managers come here and start talking shit. Someone should have taken him to cleaners when he said we played well.He is an egomaniac. Too big for his boots
Very sad to say that now I am officially also on the sack ETH train. It is so obvious that we dont have a structure or way of playing that it doesn't really matter the players you have. We have since day been dependendt on individual performances to gain us point but if we have to build for the future we need a style of play the whole team including youth players can learn, develop and utilize....
Under Van Gaal we dominated teams possession wise but we rarely score but under ETH we got dominated by small teams while having minus GD. Also LVG always perform against big teams while currently we almost always got hammered like a pornstar. There is no comparison here. Im not saying we are good under LVG but compared to ETH he might as well be GuardiolaPundits on SkySports calling Ten Hag lack of tactics now. This game of "Moments FC" vs "6 months in a new club and already showing good patterns of play even when missing many key players" is the final nail in the coffin imo. There's nobody who stil believes in Ten Hag at this point.
Also I think Neville made a good points, interesting comment about Van Gaal (that he implemented a clear style of play, and here there's just no real idea where this team is going, it's just random all around).
Honestly convinced that some of you still defending him should go follow a different sport. Or you're the biggest WUMs I've ever seen.
He is a disgrace of a manager. Easily the worst manager we've had post-SAF. That's how bad his management has been this season.
Spurs missing their best players come into Old Trafford and dominate the game. Meanwhile, this conman and his fans continue to play the injury excuse.
He has zero credit in the bank to remain manager. Woeful manager. Even the crowd today had enough of hm.
This should be the turning point in the deluded fanbase, ETH can’t play it his way because of injuries, whatever his was is couldn’t honestly tell you, it’s more moments than a cohesive coherent style, but then spurs under ange play the same way no cbs ok missing Maddison and son ok we play it the way we trained to play it.Honestly convinced that some of you still defending him should go follow a different sport. Or you're the biggest WUMs I've ever seen.

This statement is not true. Proven wrong tonight. Richarlison, Werner, Brennan Johnson, Hojberg, Skipp, Bentancur can play that way.We don't have the players to make high pressing, high possession style work, so a coach like this won't make anything much differently to ETH.
It's the time of both first subs made. We made ours in the 60th and theirs in the 80th. So it is representative of the team that both managers put out and their initial game plan.
Not sure we even need to focus on personnel because even with another better midfielder ten hags approach of lining up with two high 8s would still be suicidalSaid it before but the damage is done in the summer(s).
McTom/Eriksen Bruno and an 18 year old is not a midfield.
Casemiro and Rashford's goals last season mask many fundamental issues. Going into this season we're one injury to Casemiro and being in the gutter and here we are. If you subscribe to Case is finished it's the same outcome/problem, the Case from last season is no longer here so we're left with a more knackered Eriksen. With Eriksen we saw last season he was good for 45. Now it's about 30 min once a month, McTom not midfielder no defensive or passing qualities, average attack mid. Bruno overused past his peak playmaker that needed reigning in long ago, no discipline or ability to keep or carry the ball.
It's no wonder we're getting outplayed.
ETH and the club should've been concentrating highly on midfield and removing McTom and Eriksen so we can compete and pass and not role the dice on Case. He wanted De Jong but there's lots of teams playing well without De Jong, alternatives should've sought. His initial instincts we're right but we've gone three sheets to the wind since that long chase for De Jong.
When he's gone we really need to fix the midfield and take a season out on the chin if needed, stop trying to fix things quickly with aging players or putting hope on expensive attackers like Sancho and Antony. Get better ball playing fullbacks. Once we have a good core we can utilize our attack. This kick and rush football has to stop.
Spot on criticism about the managers responsibility that changing the structure isn't going to rectify.
He says the same deluded shit after every game. He always thinks we played well. Makes me laugh that he has the audacity to talk about setting standards at the club, yet he doesn't apply any standards to himselfThis is it. All three of them make it absolutely clear. It's quite obvious.
We have some decent players and ETH is not getting anything out of them. There must be a reason for that. And that isn't injuries, or the Glazer's etc. That is coaching and management. And ETH knows it. I understand that he stated that he feels we should have won yesterday! What game is he watching?

I want to see us play with a fully fit XI, with Martinez now back, and Casemiro also nearing full fitness, I will judge EtH after a few games with his strongest XI.
If the play does not improve, then I will hold my hands up and say: okay, maybe we just overperformed last season & found our (consistent) level under him this year.
