Our worst permanent manager post Fergie.
Ole, Carrick and McKenna were leagues above him.

Everton fans probably thought the same about their players when Lampard was their manager.
Have to wait and see. They made all these appointments in the past 24 months and they were pointless. Whats going to differ?Well that’s clearly not true because a new structure is imminent.
Normally you would say no United manager could survive that, but the club is adrift, rudderless and dysfunctional. It isn’t all the manager’s fault, as the entire hierarchy is failing, but of course we have to acknowledge that things are getting worse on the pitch. I thought ETH did an outstanding job last season and overachieved. This season he is grossly underachieving; it’s all fallen apart, sadly. I really wanted us to kick on this season, but this can’t continue much longer. The sad thing is I think any successor, no matter who it is, will be doomed to the same fate, such is the state of the club.13 defeats before Christmas. How the feck is he still in a job? The worst manager since SAF retired.
He keeps going back to that midfield every opportunity he's given, and again it's another clusterfeck.
Possibly but I seem to recall him being a pretty popular appointment on hereThe manager is a big big problem. If we can blame the club for it's horrendous structure and recruitment well then it's entirely possible that they're also hiring totally incompetent managers also.
Is there something I have missed because this is the second reference to “Excel” I have seen.
Mate what? Are people serious when they say they’d have Ole back? Jesus wept.
Once Ten Hag has something that resembles a non-injury ravaged matchday squad and isn’t lumbered with players he wanted to exchange for better ones but was scuppered by pricks who put them on huge wages, then I can make an informed decision.
He is underperforming of course but give him a chance with more tools at his disposal and give him support in identifying talent and not leave it solely down to him.
The same mckenna thats just watched his team get picked apart by leeds?

Im in the same camp. Nobody else is an option to me.Zidane is frankly the only option. Players will show for him. Nobody of note will sign for Potter...
My biggest tactical gripe
Nobody will work for the GlazersZidane is not coming to work for the Glazers
And they'd have been correct. Which is exactly why you'd hire Sean Dyche.
None of his previous teams player how Ajax played. We also dont have the players to play how Ajax played. He also was NOT given full control over recruitmentHand up, he was the first appointment post Fergie I was genuinely thrilled about, and all evidence pointed to it being the right decision. And then… he was given full control over recruitment and allowed to “play a different way to how he played at Ajax” which is the most absurd shit I’ve ever seen from a manager.
I don’t get why he reverts when you consider the profile of our midfieldWe have tried to do this a few times especially when Martinez was fit earlier in the season

Let’s count. That starting 11 out there had Bruno, AWB, Shaw, McT from the prev managers. Just 4 out of 11 players, yet it is not his team yet? Do we need him to have a brand new squad of 30 players before he can implement a style of attacking play?Because as much as you want to put all the blame on him, there are so many other factors too. It’s a culmination of 10 years of mismanagement. He’s a problem but it doesn’t magically get better with someone else.
We need a proper structure above any manager. Does he deserve a chance with that in place? Not so sure, but it’s not all on him.
He was popular but that was because of his work at Ajax.Possibly but I seem to recall him being a pretty popular appointment on here
Missing out on the new champions league format is fecking annoying. Maybe if we sack him now we might make 5th with an interim?

He is not the only problem, but he is one of the biggest problem out there for us. Anyone denying that or pointing out excuses for him just refuses to see the obvious.
He wouldn't. It's been said constantly from his camp that he wouldn't. It's annoying that it keeps getting brought upThose mentioning Zidane, why would he even consider this shit show?
Yeah it's a bit annoying how we had many moments of bodies in the box and a cut back or some quality required and the players just fecked it.I can understand people who want him out but I'd love to see how we'd fare with an attack that can score/create from nothing.
Some would argue that they are not doing it because of a lack of tactics, but we got into so many good positions today and did pretty much feck all with it.
