No need for the shitty shots at Ole in the EtH thread. It just shows the petulance of many.

Players getting in at 9am doesn't mean they are straight into training at half past the hour. You're in the building at 9am to be prepared and go through the routine.

Could careless what time the coaches and players get into the facility. Don't forget the big picture...these players have a LOT to prove to themselves and to the supporters after that shitshow last year. Have to hold themselves accountable to that embarassment.

Till the snakes criticise his training for being too rigid and no fun

This is a bloody soap opera. When last did you get daily updates on the time the coach arrived at the training grounds or what the players are thinking? I know this is a special week because of Ten Hag's start, but that doesn't make this premature attention to detail make sense.

(Cue two pages of people analyzing these tweets to bits. )

He is going to give them homeworks. Isn't he? At least, a usb stick is no more. There is the cloud. Maybe a little session with a teamviewer setup to teach them positioning.

How many other clubs are getting a blow by blow update on every little thing. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Not sure why people have an idea that Ole did no training with the players. Do you guys even know that without adequate training, the players cannot be in any sort of condition to play a football match let alone win it?

Ole got this club 2nd and 3rd, europa league final and reached the semi finals of almost every cup competition during the 19/20 and 20/21 season. Just by those stats you can discern that the fitness and conditioning of the players were very good during those 2 seasons to play that many games. The players pressing and overall gameplay was quite good as well. He might not have won a trophy, but you cannot doubt how he has made the players competitive.

It is just a shame that this season has been beset with injuries, fitness issues and players taking a while to adapt plus mentality issues which caused topsy turvy performances during Ole's last days. Even with Rangnick's training methods, there were not much improvements which tells you the issues were beyond training methods and style of play.
that is all well and good but you have to admit, ole starting training at 10am vs ETHs 9am speaks volumes for the gulf in class.

Like the start ETH has done, could be complaining in a few weeks about him but I think its refreshing for now

To be fair, were you looking for updates on the latest manager at Burnley? I'm sure if you were, you could find updates. Ten Hag has taken on one of the biggest jobs in football, the interest is huge.

One of the most pointless tweets ive ever seen. Players and new manager are backin training for the new season, so the club had to act

I don't give a feck what the players think of the training.. Do as the coach says.

every coach would look like this in a 10 second snippet.

Still rock hard though.

Why are we still so obsessed with Ole - he’s gone lads

I told you all to relax. Erik has his plan and he will execute it. If we are going into pre-season with 4 new additions then it's great transfer window. I'm certain that we'll bring more manpower during July and August as well.

And I am confident that we'll play a lot better football than previous years. I already see some straightforward actions on the pitch - he sees that after 1st training session our LB sucks arse, he asks for Malacia. That's how it's done. If he'd acted a week later, Malacia would be in Lyon.

Love how his sessions are looking at the minute. Fast tempo… quick passing. If we can execute it in matches we’ll be at the oppositions net in no time. Possession football is good when you attack with it and move it forward. None of the LVG style.

Getting excited about a twelve second video that would look like something out of a Saturday league drill is peak excitement.

There’s nothing wrong with the drill either, for what it’s worth; I’d just wait a little while before heralding this as something more than it is.

We’re going to learn how to pass the ball. Is this real? I’m about to cry.

Those pass-and-move as a unit is what I watched a lot from Ajax highlights on YouTube.

The very first training session running passing and pressing drills with it all on the floor even including our keepers, how can you not look at that and be excited. Whatever happens they will FINALLY attempt to be entertaining and that's all i want at this point.
