Onana cant even do the basics. Doesn't know when to come or go, does nothing for the Icardi goal, made a mess of the ball the went across him. He is meant to be great with his feet and cant even get a simple pass right.

The likes of @Fortitude told us it was important for him to have his own players in. Something about people he can trust and all that jazz, and they'd be a year ahead of the training schedule.
Bloody hell, have some common sense, we don't have money, we don't have FFP conditions to spend even so there is no money for another rebuild, also there is no good enough manager out there available to bring in. That is why he will not be sacked.

I can't blame it all on him. No manager can account for what Onana did tonight. Not to mention the utter shitshow that is our defensive options. He has made some bad decisions but some of our defeats have been insanely unlucky. It is, at the end of the day, a results business, and if he can't turn it around he'll be gone eventually. But I really thought EtH was the one.

It's like the players bought into his schtick at the start of last season, and we started to improve. After the league cup the heads dropped again, complacency rose, and we started fecking up. And now we're at that point where these same players, who have done it about two or three times before, have completely given up.
I don't know how you solve that short term let alone long term, but I'm really struggling to see how Ten Hag can change things at this point unless he starts knocking some idle heads together. How the players respond is up to them.

We still haven't signed press resistant players, though.

But good managers stop playing players that are useless week in week out no? Give him time to do what? I’ve always been on the managers side but when I look at other teams like spurs and see how there manager as implemented a style straight away and he’s had what 7 games? ETH has had over a year. No excuses to not get a team playing a good brand of football and if they don’t accept it or can’t play that way then bin them off. This is a joke and we’re getting embarrassed every week.

I don't think keeping him makes things worse than sacking him. You've started a project and it's 10 games in. As bad as it is (and it is bad), there's no value in rage quitting. History has shown us this.

Thanks for thisI’m finding this hard to take as I was so sure that ETH really was the first correct choice of manager since SAF. Everything pointed towards that (in my mind anyway). Yet it has unravelled into an absolute shut show which is due to the players he’s recruited. Not one has been any good. Casemiro perhaps a decent few months but like every one, he’s gone to shit after the cup win.

Pool never had out problems.
He shouldn't be bringing in any players though. If we were run properly, the club would have a proper sporting director that understands the style of play and direction the club is going in, and they should work with the scouting department to sort transfers out.

A team when is changing 2-3 players in the summer cant go from 3rd to 14th without players giving up. It happened with Jose and Ole too. This is our culture now, and without changing it, we won't be successful. The first and most important thing that ETH should have asked this summer, should have been to sell Martial, Shaw, Rashford, McT, Sancho, Maguire*. He didn't. So this problem will persist.
*I m not blaming them for today. It's just that these players have embraced this "I give up" culture.
ETH please play your own game. Drop the square pegs in Bruno and Rashford and actually play your own football. This pragmatism to fit those 2 in the team is gonna get him fired.
He's brought in players that aren't good enough to play for the club and he's relying on them to get him out of the shit. It sucks but you live and die by your recruitment as a manager and he could not have got it more wrong
