I have backed ETH completely so far. But after Brighton I said we can't play Eriksen and Casemiro together in centre mid. And you can clearly, very very, clearly see they keep getting overrun... crazy to see ETH persist with Eriksen there. To make matters worse Rashford on the left doesn't track back. How is that going to work?

How can I support this? Sigh.

We are fecked. We are cursed. We are fecking cursed.

He is a stubborn fecker. Decent, but nothing special. Since we are banking on the next Fergie, he isnt the guy

We played alright in patches but Bayern really are not all that at the moment under Tuchel.

I would be surprised if Tuchel gets sacked and come November with a new manager, they roast us.

When top four is out of reach, which it isn't.

Yeah, but that's gonna happen the way this is going.

How are we staying ahead of Liverpool, Spurs, Brighton and Newcastle this season?

Shades of when we faced Watford at the end of Ole's time coming up this week when we face Burnley

lost the dressing room. Bust up with sancho. Club told Mctominay and Maguire to get fecked then didnt let them go and now expect them to play for us. Mason Greenwood 2.0. Fans need to turn on the glazers and push the sale through now thats all thats left for this season

This thread is funny at times. Lads actually believe he'll get sacked. Give your heads a wobble.

We're down to the bare bones at the moment. The manager isn't the problem

Look at Bayern’s team and bench vs ours? Years of mismanagement from the top. Bayern are a serious club who take the best players on the market every summer. Mount would be a squad signing for them at best and they wouldn’t be in for Ronadlo Varane or Casemiro.. Rashford wouldn’t get into their team. He’s our main player. That’s what we are up against at the very top level in the CL and this is a poor Bayern team. As I’ve said before we gave up being serious about winning and building a footballing dynasty beyond Fergie in 2009. It’s been slowly downhill every season since then.

We need to stop gifting goals. Eriksen should not start for us. Hopefully Amrabat and Mainoo are not too long away

This midfield set up given the players physical level is insanity.

What is he playing at?

No player is "his" signing. We have a team set up above the manager that are supposed to deal with recruitment.

90% of our transfers last 2 seasons are players he either managed before or played in Dutch league at one point, but keep on convincing yourself that.

I don't what to think and I am more or less don't care if he is fired or not.

Is he just unlucky with injuries and off the pitch issues? Or is he just a shit manager?can't tell really..

Lost 3 games on the trot and I can see us falter against Burnly with a similar lethargic efforts from these mentally weak players

Lost a little confidence it the manager in all honesty. Not really the results but the lack of performances. Hard to assess what is the long-term directive. How does the manager intend to build on this team going forward ? Signings only make up for 50%, the other half is the instructions / tactical input. Really poor.

He is a stubborn fecker. Decent, but nothing special. Since we are banking on the next Fergie, he isnt the guy
"Banking on the next Fergie" is a suicidal strategy. The cult of the manager needs to go away.

He's an average manager, people thinking he won titles with absolutely dominant Ajax team, with biggest budget best academy in Dutch league could lead MUFC? I guess it's never given, would rather amanger who really knows how to set up off the ball, he's quite an amateur off it. Certainyl some slight improvements on the ball, but we can't press to save our lives.

Depends how you want us set up off the ball. If you want us to sit deep in a low block and look to counter, we have a bunch of players who are used to and very good at that. If you want a more proactive high press, then we're unironically the best team in the league at it this season - we've had more high turnovers than any other side, but we haven't turned a single one of them into a goal, which makes the risks we take completely pointless.

The result flatters us massively, Bayern were having an off day and still had an easy game. Every time we managed to have a chance to return they just immediately upped their game and within seconds restored the lead.

This Bayern isn't a good side but we're a team consisting of bunch of clowns managed by an awful coach.

Weird game really, I thought he picked the first XI right (considering the limited options), we started very well but then mistakes + slow midfield hapenned. Eriksen should be subbed at half time, even for feckin McTominay.
Still, if it wasn't for Onana OR just a bit of luck we would've gotten a point.

This wasn't a very bad game but our football is totally random stuff.

It matters when you splash a good part of your budget on a keeper that ends us losing you a game.

And by the way, Ten Hag is doing a shit job.

Every fecking post of yours is negative bollox. Not sure how you get away with it tbh.

Which would indicate that the recruitment team aren't doing their job or are getting walked all over by ETH.

Yes they are supposed to, that's literally their job. Blaming a modern manager for recruitment is ridiculous.
My point is that it doesn't matter how org charts and op models exist on paper. In practice, the manager is the one dictating transfer strategy. You can't possibly look at our activity over the last few transfer windows and deny that.

He shouldn't be, but he is.

Let's be honest, Antony and Mount are both average, at best.

Jesus, they were on the pitch earlier in the season when we were equally pony.

as were varane and shaw. The people waiting for the ‘full squad’ to be available are in for a dissapointment i’m afraid

I think I’m a few games away from being ten hag out. That’s not to say I’d want him out because I don’t see much changing this season but I’m very close to believing we were conned with this guy.

I was a massive fan first half of last season but I did say after the second halfof the season the only difference between him and Ole was better players in Martinez and Casemiro.

Now that Martinez and Casemiro have been average/poor we look exactly like the bad version of Ole’s teams.

Well who do we play .. throw in the kids .?
We should have maybe played with 433 and added 1 more midfielder there..
Ohh wait didn't we do that against Brighton

Theoretically, how many of these does he have to lose for us to make a switch?

Burnley A
Crystal Palace H
Crystal Palace H
Galatasaray H
Brentford H
Sheff Utd A
Copenhagen H
Manchester City H

That’s a great run to turn things around, but that run of six home games out of seven will get very toxic if things don’t immediately change.

Ah gotcha. Yeah I agree with all you've said there.
