There's more sense in here than the average transfer forum post to be fair.it's true tbh. i run pl season simulations in my head that take in all kind of permutations and scenarios to see who would be suited to playing in the pl, even for which teams, it's that in depth.
after 3,563 real life sims, the only time he was in the top 5 defenders over the course of 38 games, by any measurable criterion (interceptions, tackles etc) was if all our home games were played with moon gravity instead of earth gravity. we only conceded 1 freak own goal that year as all opposition players floated off into space as they weren't wearing special moon boots. memphis also flew away as alex ferguson (who was managing us again in this sim) nobbled his boots to get rid of him.

Apart from the fact that every reliable English outlet is reporting it as £30m but yes let's go with €30m.30m Euros (£23.5m) is pretty much going rate for any talent these days.
Hard to argue with such evidence-based logic.it's true tbh. i run pl season simulations in my head that take in all kind of permutations and scenarios to see who would be suited to playing in the pl, even for which teams, it's that in depth.

That's the total if add-ons are met.Apart from the fact that every reliable English outlet is reporting it as £30m but yes let's go with €30m.
The BBC still report Memphis' fee as £30m when it was €30m.Apart from the fact that every reliable English outlet is reporting it as £30m but yes let's go with €30m.
Last summer was good business. We got everyone in before we left for pre-season in the first week of July.
Hard to argue with such evidence-based logic.

Time for Phil to move on or,at least,go out on loan,I think.
Did he22 year old?
But, but Mourinho hates young players and will never give them a chance.
i've sent an email to jose.mourinho@manutd.com and told him all this, so don't be surprised if we pull out of the deal.
Yes because the BBC got one fee wrong let's ignore the fact that they're far and away the most reliable English source. What about every other paper that's reporting it as £30m then? They must also be wrong because it's not like Manchester United under Woodward to overpay right? The BBC still report Memphis' fee as £30m when it was €30m.

I'm going with Marca here, they tend to have very good knowledge on Spanish buy out clauses.
Yes Marca the definition of reliability. His buy out clause is €40m btw.I'm going with Marca here, they tend to have very good knowledge on Spanish buy out clauses.

If all the add-on clauses are triggered it will get to that.Yes because the BBC got one fee wrong let's ignore the fact that they're far and away the most reliable English source. It's like reporting the Martial fee as £60m or whatever it was, it's only getting there if every single clause is met, but the bigger number makes for more clicks.
Exactly, if these fees reach their highest value it means the player had been a success and at that point nobody will give a feck what they cost.More importantly i pray to God all Martials clauses are met as it means we win shitolads and plyer hits Messis standadrs.

Interesting player and just 22 years old, which means that he still can develope further. Everyone talked about the likes of Marquinhos, Varane and Stones but instead we might end up with a more "unknown" player in Baily, which I actually dont mind. If Mourinho think he's a player who would fit here, then I trust that. When/if this signing goes through I think it's perfect to celebrate with some Baileys!
Saw him a lot for Villareal this season.
He'll be a right-back for us, at the start, I think. Jose likes his full backs to also be competent CB's and I don't think he's ready to be the stable CB Mourinho strives for yet. Definitely a supreme talent, though. Between him and a (hopefully) fit Shaw we'll have lots of pace on the flanks. An exciting transfer.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty TFM best positions are centre back or centre midfield, it was slightly odd that Van Gaal played him at right back. What would it mean for TFM if Bailly is a RB signing? Valencia would probably be the cover for RB ahead of him, and I'm not sure how many games he's played as a defensive midfielder - but he'll have even more competition there too.
