His composure on the ball helps us so much.

It really should be a Bailly-Rojo centre back pairing. Those two have the best mix of attributes.

Would help us play out from back more confidently. His sheer presence makes me confident we will win any given game.

Please don't ever get injured again Eric.

That bit where he stepped up into Leicester's half and completely nullified their counter before playing a low pass straight out to Valencia on the right wing immediately. Ramos-like

Bailly and Fuchs be like…

He has more sense of urgency in his play than Jones. In attacking sense. He has tempo in his passing, he's more aware of passing to Valencia in his stride and allows more pace in our attacks. It may be a minor detail in our play but I think it's vital.

And just watching him play. He's a joy to watch.

All action defender. Loved that moment where he looked like he wanted to bring the ball out and take it to the other end by himself.

His composure on the ball is just brilliant. Knows when to hold possession and knows when to just belt it.

Him and Jones would be the ideal partnership.

Delighted he's back. Absolute beast.

He was good, but IMO Smalling was the standout of the two. Hopefully they can form a good partnership, since they are arguably our two best CBs.

There was a moment in the second half when the ball got trapped between the chests of Bailly and a Leicester player that reminded me of that team-building exercise where you have to move an orange without using your hands. For a second I was wondering if it would remain trapped there for the rest of the match.

I agree that it's great to have him back. While Rojo and Jones in particular have done well in his absence, having him back offers us something more in defence. His style of defending is much more proactive and offensive. He doesn't want to wait for his opponent to come to him, he throws himself forward to get the ball.
