Unlucky Jof. I refuse to trash bowlers when they struggle with a bouncer while all the batsmen are in the hutch.

The short ball stuff to tailenders is a bit weird, send a few down sure but every ball felt unnecessary.

This series should be a great advert for Test Cricket and the emergence of Archer would have made it just that.

But now, what is this going to do to the future of the greatest form of the game?

feck that T20 shit

Any chance we could get Cook to come back for the last couple of Tests?

Aussies should enforce the follow on.

He'd be better than Roy of course but he was done long before he actually retired.

Broad telling Archer to review, He knows everything about being caught then not walking..

Bloody hell England, smith out of this game and you only had one job.

There was a time when you weren't allowed to bowl short at a tailender. It's not really cricket, is it? You couldn't bowl more than a couple an over, back in the day, to anyone.

By all means tie him in knots with a Yorker, or some vicious spin, but don't bowl a bouncer at a player who doesn't have skills to defend himself.

One of the worst batting performances you'll ever see. And on a perfect day for batting.

That over was better from Hazelwood, Cummins was just banging it in short and wasn't even trying to set up anything else.

If the first innings score is below 200, then I think the rule was that you've to go past half the runs or something to avoid follow on. Might have changed.

Nope I'm wrong.

Bayliss already sounds like he doesn't give a solitary shit about Test cricket.

I cannot imagine how half arsed he'll now be when coaching over 2 dead rubbers before he leaves.

Bet he phones in sick for the 5th Test.

Should have just quit after the World Cup though I imagine he felt obligated to stay on.

Those were some of the worst wickets I have seen in test cricket. Some truly pathetic dismissals.

We're just asking for Archer to get injured.

Bowled 44 overs in his first ever test match, and now he's going to spend almost 2 full days bowling again.

Should be on an over limit for this innings, 4-5 over spells max.

Aye, he needs to look after himself.

The match and the ashes have gone. No point breaking his back now.

Even if Archer ripped through Australia again and we got them out for 100, that's a 212 run lead.

We aren't chasing 212 down.
