Never thought that I would see a test match where England were the bullies and Australia was the timid team. Head is the one guy who plays like old Aussie players. Irrespective of the result here from ball 1 yesterday Australia have been so negative

I am eating the biggest piece of humble pie for lunch. Stokesy has made me look a complete clown and couldn't be happier.
This is why test cricket is the best format by far, so far in 4 sessions this game has felt like it’s swung, from has stokes made a mistake with the declaration to England now look in a great position, then these two could still be in at tea after banging on 150 runs. Who knows but it’s amazing.
What I like about this England set up is they stick to the philosophy of how they want to play every game, attack and get after it no matter what, for so long test matches could be a slog to get through and not much happens but when you bend the game to your will it opens so many more possibilities

Our lack of a serious spin option vs Lyon being world class is one of the main areas we’re exposed on. Basically relying on the seamers and batters being good enough to take that out of the equation.
