England V India

Vaughan's been ruled out of the rest of the series...

Poor day today for India.Good batting by Collingwood and the tail...tactically Indians were at fault though.

Sehwag's only problem at the moment seems to be his belief in himself...and its as much of a bane as a boon.He believes he can split a 7-2 offside field and he'll try it.He believes he can cut a ball for six more than once and he'll try it.He believes he can get to 295 and charge down the track to make his 300 and, hell, he'll try it.Its a massive boost to have someone like him in the side and he'll be a legend once he retires but he HAS to understand that there is such a thing as seeing off bowlers like Hoggard who will be at you constantly. There was no special need to for that drive on the up but he believed he could do it, so he did.

Panesar looked decent to me..nothing too special. It was Jaffer who was making him look good by pottering around with him.I'd like to see him against Tendulkar and Dhoni.

He'll get Laxman out, no doubt.

Indians in surprise bottling shocker.

Chokers.

Knighthood for Colly.

I told you he is a test player, class knock.

Panesar looks good as well.

I say again, Blackwell is rubbish, and a fat cnut.

England bowlers need to stop drifting the ball down leg side.

Harmison needs some time out of the team...he isn't suited to subcontinent wickets either. He needs to learn to either swing the ball or get alternatives going like the yorker or slower ball. He's been doing nothing in Pakistan or today.

Not like England have much alternative at the moment, although I agree with you in principle.

Your judgement with regard to cricket is a lot better than with regard to football.

I'm generally quite good in both, i'm going out on a limb with the Lampard thing, but I still think it would work.

It's just embarrassing. I'm embarrassed and it's not even my view.

You'll see, i'll become the next England manager and prove you wrong, or sit on my sofa and do nothing, either way I believe i'm right and that's all that matters.

If there's one team more likely to bottle it than England, it's India.
Thats easy to say now that you have almost 400 runs on board, but generally the English batting line up over the last decade or so, has been the biggest bunch of bottlers iv ever seen. Over the last year or so it had gotten rid of that tendancy. Came back to the fore against Pakistan though.

And all you yapping on about Pathan averaging 29.. Harmisons averaging practically the same.

Hoggard gets Dravid LBW with a great delivery.

Huge swing.

Game on.

Looks like the Indians are cheating again with the footholes.

Flintoff should have had Jaffer out LBW there as well, umpire doesn't give it...

Hoggard again!

Jaffer edges to Flintoff to second slip.

Game on.

Hoggard again!

Laxman out first ball LBW, he never stood a chance, what a delivery!

He's on a hattrick.

I should stay up more often.

Game on.

Harmison coming on for Flintoff with India 155-4.

Flintoff and Hoggard have bowled excellently this morning, Harmison and co need to carry this on.

I really do like the look of Panesar, he has a great action.

Harmison really needs to buck up his ideas, he has been poor so far.

Panesar gets Tendulkar!!!

Out LBW, good decision, the Turbanator.

Lara is better than Tendulkar!

Panesar is better than Harbajan!

Game on.

Bell almost caught Dhoni off Panesar, very difficult chance, it was hit hard.

Dhoni edges Flintoff, caught by Jones.

They're running through them!

I can't last much longer, I need to sleep.

Game on.

And that's lunch ladies and gentlemen.

190-6

You can't ask for much more than that.

Really pleased for Panesar, not just for the wicket, he bowled really well.

I take a lot of credit for England's performance, but I have to sleep now, hopefully they can go on without me.

Game on.

Heh heh heh

Have that cheaters.
