England V India

Monty!

feck me he's bowled sme overs too.

Hmm I guess it will be lead of 60-70.
Poor stuff by batsman today, still I reckon if Kumble and Harbhjan get inot their stride we can dismiss you around 150.

is this monty better than giles by looks of it?

looks like it at the moment, seems to get a lot more spin.

but i think giles will still be in the squads, but gradually panesar will edge him out.

only 2 days left...we will need to score quick if we wanna win this one, not sure theyll be enough time to bowl them out again

Even if you do 230-250 is a big ask on a 5th day deck.

Yeah, they beat us on their last tour

I warned you lot about monty… :D

It’s gonna be a draw, shame.
I think your right - it's gonna take an inspired bowling performance and some v.quick runs in the second innings. Having said...you wouldn't put it past England after what's happened in the past 12 months.

Did you lot beat Pakistan in India or was it a draw?
Draw.
Nice to see all of you already beginning to overrate Monty. Looks a decent bowler.. like Ashley giles. Doesnt look like someone who can run through a team, a wicket here and there.

As for the match.. the pattern is pretty amazing. Both the English and the Indian batting efforts, worked out almost in an identical manner, with good starts, middle order collapses and the tail wagging. England have the advantage because we have to chase, although all 3 results are still a possibility.

Yes. Nothing to do with the 70 run lead.

And Monty made your spinners look like park players.

And everyone made Harmison look like shit.

Tendulkar is gay though, only Indians could worship a fat midget.

How does Gilo feel watching Monty?

Great effort from the lad - I like his temperament. Still pretty early to get excited about a young kid bowling in ideal spin conditions...looking forward to a great finish.

You're an idiot.

You think the match is level except for the fact that India have to bat last, even though you're 70 behind with one wicket left.

You can't see the wood for the trees.

I didnt say that was the only reason but yup i believe its the main reason England have the upper hand. A 60 odd run lead is all well and good, but if we were 60 runs behind going into bat, with England batting last, IMO we would be favourates.

Monty's the best spinner I've ever seen. Better than Warne, Saqlain, Murali, Qadir and Bedi.

70 run lead is massive on a deteriorating wicket...
The reason im saying this is because Kumble and Harbhajan bowling on the final day on Indian pitches are almost unplayable. Not taking credit away from the English bowlers.. Hoggard was very good in particular. But this pitch isnt as bad as the batsman are making it look.. i fear the English batsman will really pile on the runs tomorrow.
