No politicians have had the courage to say that in light of the racism emerging here in Ireland. That's the real issue. Not a few hundred scumbags. We can lock them up or fight them on the streets if need be, but it's the structural issues that need to be addressed.

I’m thankful that up here in Scotland, specifically Edinburgh, there hasn’t been anything yet, probably because the Festival is on. They’re planning stuff in Glasgow though.

A hindrance to real progressive politics in my opinion. There is a huge conservative element to the middle in Irish terms. Ireland is odd as this left / right dichotomy is almost entirely new to us, (being post colonial and lacking any participation in the industrial revolution and the politics that it entailed).

It's surprised me that mob haven't been out on the streets in Glasgow, but all quiet so far and no evidence of anything im the city centre so far at least.

She just targets one really lovely retired protestant couple down the road. She can't stand them. Loves everyone else. It's a bit inconvenient as the lady usually drops me in jam and baked goods. Juno the wee Provo has almost put an end to that.

Apparently in West London, shops are closing early and people seem quite tense. Shocking that this is happening in a fully developed country in 2024. We have gone backwards. And massively.

Meant to happen in Brentford, not many shops around where it's meant to happen but I imagine the shops near the stations (Brentford, Syon Lane, Kew) etc. nearby are boarding up

Edit: I'm not speaking on behalf of Di Maria's angel, just giving my assumption based on what I know of the area as I go quite frequently there

Yeah, my problem is that she being the wife of a tory councillor is given the benefit of the doubt. Does it have anything to do with her husbands position?

Sheffield shops and pubs have been closing early or not opening at all. I was meant to be out tonight but we've stayed in Hillsborough far away from any dickheads.
 
I'm from Croydon, and I have family in Harrow.

Can someone educate me on the EDL logic? Are they actually threatening and numerous or insanely thick? I genuinely think theyl have their backside handed to them in these areas.
