Rumours of them marching from Old Market in Bristol towards Easton tomorrow. I lived there for a year and it’s got a sizeable Asian and Muslim population. We had nothing but lovely interactions whilst living there so I really hope this is just rumour. We’ve also got friends still living in Easton who have a young baby and they’re extremely worried about tomorrow.

Wrong. The murderer wasn't a Muslim person, in fact it's been reported he had no known links to Islam at all. Deliberate misinformation was spread about this person immediately after the murder, like within minutes, before the police even had time release any kind of statement. The misinformation was that he was a Muslim asylum seeker who came to the England on a boat recently. A fake Muslim sounding name was spread by right wing grifters. Based on that information, people were bussed into Southport to 'protest' which inevitably turned into a riot in front of a mosque and a fight with the police while lobbing bricks at the mosque.
The following day, mosques in other cites like Liverpool were targets of vandalism and rioting, whilst rioters were very blatantly patrolling the streets looking for any brown/black person to beat up. After that, it spread to multiple cities with the looting, rioting, arson etc that you've been seeing with a couple of hotels housing asylum seekers being attacked.
Meanwhile the murderer was charged and his name was released. It was a, most likely, Christian guy who was born in the UK to Rwandan parents.
There's the trouble though. We don't want to live in a country where we can say our government has taken the same action as that of China, which is essentially a dictatorship which censors and limits the free speech of its people.
Most people would have a problem with that as a point of principle, but Tommy Two Names and his pals on the right will have an absolute field day with that.
Plus there are multiple ways to circumvent tech barriers, so it'd be doomed to failure anyway.

As long as there's those better off and those worse off this sort of thing will always happen, and the ones well off will always sow/redirect the division otherwise they end up being the target.
My worry is that having the Tories in charge for so long (particularly once Boris started to have an influence) has amplified this problem to the point its given the far right a foothold rather than them effectively being bridge trolls. The Tories started pandering to hate politics in their desperate attempt to stay in power, then Reform just stepped in as a sort of half way house between "I blame foreigners for the fact I have less money" and "Hitler was pretty cool".
A lot of the idiots smashing stuff up atm might be more people looking for an excuse to take out their anger than driven/devoted racists, but either way they end up being the foot soldiers, because they're fecking stupid and easy to manipulate as long as you pander to their anger.
