England | right wing knuckle draggers on the streets

this is so embarrassing for us brits

how the feck did we get here?

Mate it's just the reporting and way it's portrayed.

I'm Asian British and went through this shit in the 80's and seeing it again.

One thing I always noticed is the support from white Brits "we" got.

I was playing cricket today and majority of folks were white Brits and they were disgusted.

This is a minority of cnuts. Unfortunately bad news is news. The good guys don't get the exposure.

No way would I say all Brits are embarrassing or should be embarrassed. It's when you see the Brits that make you proud at these moments. They simply get no exposure

What happened to the days when the police would just baton these bell whiffs all over the place. The police have gone soft

But...that's what we expect from the police? Not to "beat" people up?

So we have got two barbers every close to each other, a couple months ago on a random Tuesday something must of kicked off, full on brawl between 4 or 5 them in the middle of road, once it was done, they shook hands and went back into their the shops.
This reminds me of an incident from a few years ago. There's a kurdish owned barbers next door to my restaurant and one day a group of suited kurds turned up and kicked off with the owners, 10 mins of shouting and fisticuffs and then they shook hands and drove off.

People on here would start moaning and have a go at the police for being too heavy handed.

The media has a lot to answer for. The vitriol spouted everywhere you look - be it TV, newspapers or social media - fuels so much of this hatred.

The media just need to stop thinking they need to “both side” everything. Some sides are wrong / some are right. This should be accepted.

Agreed, the only reason Farage was still a thing after all those election defeats is because they platformed him up to the heavens the amount of times he was on QT was laughable even though he kept losing elections

Yeah I get that, but just watching some footage of a police line, and these people goading them and spitting on them and they just have to stand there? At what point can the police act to protect themselves?

The Kurdish are next level.

The biggest local Kurdish mosque in Stoke had loads of Kurds there and prayed their Salah in the car park.

No right winger came near it as they would have had some fight back.

Weird thing is the mosque they went for is used mainly by those born here. The Kurdish one is recent migrants.

Funniest thing, and I don't know how to post the vid, is one guy saying we wouldn't mind them building mosques here if they let us build a mosque in Mecca. No way they'd let us build a mosque in Mecca.

I don't know why, but this scene from one of my favourite films suddenly popped into my head after seeing all the violence from a huge number of white extremists across the UK and the retaliation from the other side defending themselves.

"I know whose side I'm fighting on"

I mean, of course police has to protect itself when necessary. But dishing out violence is not what we want from police.

So depressing seeing all this hatred and idiotic behaviour. Hope the police manage to slap fines or arrests on a huge number of them.

I was wondering why @Abraxas hadn't responded yet but I suppose he's having a busy night.
Yep, had to dodge a sword wielding Muslim running down the streets of Stoke. That was one from the religion of peace playbook for today, I wonder what we'll see tomorrow.

I wonder what you were doing near sword wielding Muslims to ignite their ire? Were you showing them your Redcafe posting history?

I find that racism is alive and well in Stoke, at a time where it has been mostly blunted in sadly not enough places.

Old but relevant…

For anyone asking how we’ve got to this point…

An absolutely disgraceful statement for a police and crime commissioner to make. She’s essentially taking the side of the rioters, and says the government needs to do what they want to stop the disorder.

I assume the Government can sack her because that's an insane statement for a commissioner to make.

Wonder if she remains in her job for long?

The really ironic thing is that her batshit crazy party have clamped down on legitimate protest so much that you can end up in prison for giving a statue of a slaver a dirty look, and yet she’s totally in support of an actual violent insurrection.

She's elected, unfortunately. A very dumb tory idea.

It's an elected position, I wouldn't have thought she could be sacked? The people who voted for her most likely agree with her.
