England in India 2021

Ive actually thought the comms had been ok but WTF are they talking about now.

Right we are winning this. 535 all out. Come on

Jofra should be number 11.

I know he smashes it in the IPL but he's been consistently shite with the bat for England .

Yes!! He's been awful. Has he got one decent score?

Apparently he scored some runs vs New Zealand (20 or 30). I thought he could become a genuine all-rounder when he first came into the team (he still might) but he's a bunny.

His top test score is 30 so I suppose that's a decent score. That's about it though.

But other than that he just looks a classic old fashioned number 11, ie not very good.

Which is fine, but I just remember before his debut everyone kept talking how he could bat a bit and he was dangerous with the bat and all that. I expected so much more

He's going to end up like Darren Gough, capable of smacking it and making you think that there is a batsman there but still ending up averaging 12.

I can't believe after his 90 odd @ Lord's vs Ireland and his hand in Headingley that Leach bats below Archer  .

No, the margin of error from umpires can’t be that much. Poor discipline from the bowlers.
Think we'll see loads of no-balls for the next few months, then bowlers will adjust and they'll just go out of the game hopefully.

Bess is really handy with the bat.

Might end up being like Steve Smith* gets in as a spinner but eventually he's just a good batsman and that's how he stays in the team.

*obviously won't be as good as Smith.
