Time for Jack Leach to block out 3 sessions for 3 runs
He hasn't mate. In fact he's hardly played in the Championship. He's been great in the white-ball comps but has hardly played red-ball (an example of the problems we've chatted about earlier, regarding a lack of opportunity for young English spinners).Based on this test and considering the rotation policy employed by us I'd like to see Matthew Parkinson for the next game. Leg spinner for Lancs who has really been playing well in the county championship.
He's gonna score a double hundred. Quote me.Time for Jack Leach to block out 3 sessions for 3 runs
OkHe's gonna score a double hundred. Quote me.
Well done! You at least got one zero correct. He's gonna score a double hundred. Quote me.

Leach out!
Win some, you lose some.
I was born in India. The UK has been my home for most of my life. My maternal grandparents are from Pakistan. Basically, I'm a confused soul.Jinxer, I thought you supported England!

That's so bad by the umpire. If he thought he nicked the ball it's out, if he didn't then it's out LBW.
We want players intimidating umpires now do we?That looked so out.... & here's Kohli behaving like a captain should. Root would just have smiled & got on with it.

I'll be getting up about three hours into tomorrow's play. Can't see it still going when I turn the TV on.
England just need to find some positives tomorrow. They've already got Stone's performance. Would be great if Lawrence could kick on and get a 50 and Pope can get back into form.
Otherwise, it's a foregone conclusion. India just too strong on this pitch.

If that was an English batsman, he'd have been out, right @Ayush_reddevil
Not intimidating, no. Questioning them definitely. We want players intimidating umpires now do we?
He should be more vociferous imo, yes. As should Silverwood.Eh? what are you on about? Root was respectfully querying the 3rd umpire decision yesterday with the on field umpires. Should he be jumping up and down?

In hindsight, maybe yes. I'll confess to not seeing all the pictures on this one until just not. I stand by the fact England are & have been too nice earlier in this Test.Don't want captain's behaving like Kohli did there
Kohli was bang out of order, seems to think he can do whatever he wants.
Of course the umpire is so bad that he didn't even realize it hit the pad , he just gave it not out because of caught behind .
Are you genuinely suggesting home umpires favouring the home team is not an actual thing ? There's a reason the ICC decided on neutral umpires in the first place. They might not do it on every occasion but that doesn't change the fact that subconscious bias exists
Kohli treats Indian umpires like his subordinates, another reason for not having Indian umpires
He should be more vociferous imo, yes. As should Silverwood.
Definitely - Without doubt (used for emphasis).WTF does that even mean?
My opinion England are too nice when decisions are perceived to go against us.But he's not entitled to do that and neither is Silverwood. Is the decision going to be changed if they shout and scream? no. So they just get on with it.
