What's a good score in day/night tests in Australia? Can't say I've ever seen one.Australia 209/4 at the close of play. Good day for the Aussies.

Blimey, that's quite a match.http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/...an-1st-Test-pakistan-in-australia-test-series
Ball/pitch was doing nothing on the final two days in that game. They'll need 400+ imo.

Thinking ahead are there any like decent proper fast bowlers in England. Wood's fitness is not up to scratch and not sure how good Plunkett is in the long form either. It's a bit worrying because even in the longer-term future I can't think of any pace bowlers who hit 85mph+ consistently and play a lot of longer form stuff.
It's no exaggeration to say the series is now in serious jeopardy for England. A couple of poor sessions and this test is Australia's and we'll struggle to fight back from 2-0 down. I'll expect Root and Trev out on the balcony doing rain dances if the wickets start tumbling later.
I was reading something earlier where Clive Lloyd said the West Indies produced so many genuinely quick bowlers by just letting them bowl as fast as they could as kids rather than drumming line and length into them which tends to be the case in England. That's partly down to the pitches we're brought up on but his argument is that you can be taught to bowl straight afterwards.Thinking ahead are there any like decent proper fast bowlers in England. Plunkett should have gone on the tour for me - he's aggressive and bowls a decent yorker with the old ball too plus he's no mug with the bat which stiffens a pretty limp England tail. Jake Ball has bowled absolute muck.
We're also crying out for a left armer IMO.
Hopefully Tom Curren can be that manThinking ahead are there any like decent proper fast bowlers in England. Are you Kevin Curran?Worth trying Sam Curren as the Left armer
Hopefully Tom Curren can be that man
Nah the games done. We ain't chasing anything close to 350 with this batting lineup.Wow. Aussies need to get atleast 350 lead to feel safe.
England are giving themselves a good chance.

River?
England wont make it to 250. Maybe not even 200.
