Just read its unmastered which explains the shite beat.
Doesn't explain why it's a shit song though. I'm not getting my hopes up for this album, probably 2-3 good songs at best.
Shit song, beat sucks. I'll wait for other songs to leak before passing judgement on the album, but this was poor.
Any amount of mastering (which listening to the vocals doesn't really sound like its 'lacking' mastering) won't save the song.

Just listening to the Live Lounge version of Not Afraid, he's fecking smashing it. You can tell he's in a better state than the drugged up Em. Epic.
To be fair, as good as that was, it can't feck with my boy Weezy, spitting one of the most incredible freestyles ever on the same show

I like the new song more and more and the beat is pretty good. Reminds me of Jay Z's death of autotune.
There's a few good tracks on it, definitely better than his last album. Fair play for sampling 'What is love'.

Christ didn't realise how quick that link would go down. I was up till about 4am listening to this, its very strong, much better than Relapse and he seems to be in a much better place mentally - he even mentions on one track how he says ignore Encore and Relapse because he was 'drugged up' for Encore and 'flushing them away' for Relapse.

For anyone who downloaded the disgusting leak, is there a song on the album with Jay-Z?? I read a rumour that 'space-bound' was with Jay, but can't find any confirmation.
