Bluesky almost has all the people I care about on it now in terms of football stuff. The election stuff was the catalyst needed for people to start making the leap and for X to become uselesss for me now.

It's still a bit dead but also when I check back on Twitter there's way less tweets every hour or so. International break killing the momentum of football bluesky a bit but hopefully it holds out until next weekend. There was an international break when Threads launched I think and it killed any momentum.
We are now living in the darkest possible timeline, strap in folks because it's going to be a hell of a ride.
When I joined 6 months ago, I quickly found some old school Chelsea twitter folks that had quietly disappeared from timeline years ago. It was quiet there but engaging enough for me to be active on there. The last day or so has been crazy. About 80% of who I used to regularly interact on twitter before I closed my account with have found me. Now my timeline resembles 2010 twitter.

Thread feels odd now knowing this racist scumbag has played the game, used this platform to further all his objectives and walked away billions of dollars richer in the short term with multiples of that pending. He’s in the White House now with the greatest power of influence on the planet.
His platform continues to be the greatest on earth to further agendas and be a cancerous growth on a global scale.

YouTube and Facebook both have way more influence than X, as do TikTok and probably Instagram.

That's the case for a lot of successful people, even in football. In Elon's case it has been documented that he has anxiety.
