Edward Woodward

A lot of stuff seems to be coming out and it seems to be more than moles, that Mata stuff was definitely from higher-up's.

True, and I liked that move if it was tactical which it seems to have been. The stuff about Woodward though does seem to be leaks which is what I was replying to.

Am I the only one who feel that the "best players in the world" and "in advanced negotiation stage" (paraphrase) in Moyes words are the reason why Ed is flying back?

I guess with 198 people on tour (read that somewhere but can't remember where) that's to be expected.

Somewhere in Australia the running scene from Rocky is being recreated with Eddy Woodward running along holding a plane ticket

What if Ed done something naughty and returns to Manchester like Rooney and soon to receive a bid for him, from Jose.

I'm now genuinely more interested in how many pages about a boardroom member getting on a plane you lot can rack up in the next 24 hours, than I am about who he's potentially coming back to buy.

This is what kills me. Who fecking said we publicised it? In fact the opposite is most likely that we tried to keep it under wraps but clearly there's a few moles in the camp. Why is that so hard to grasp?

Sure all the top British journo's are travelling with the squad on the tour man, so thats where shit gets leaked or found out.

I think its regarding the Rooney's case. He'll probably want to be there to negotiate the best deal possible.

Just going to fire some key words that have been used the past couple of days: FabregON, Fellaini time, smokescreen, Rooney out, "will be finishing with Osman". Take your pick as to why he's flying back.

That, or he forgot to feed his cat the plonker :)

If it is incoming transfer business, which I am not convinced that it is, but if it is, then it has to be something massive. If Woodward needs to come home to sucure any target on our list then you would have to question what in the hell he wasd doing away at this time in the first place.

Still not sure whether I can believe Sky's reports on United transfer business, after they were harping on about Moyes unveiling Thiago at a presser a couple of weeks ago. I bet they are just guessing, as they were about Thiago.

It's obviously about Rooney, the club were hardly likely to admit it when asked.

Idiots might question why a high ranking member of our staff was with the club on their pre-season tour.

Why is it obviously about any particular thing? You've no more insight than the rest of us. You can speculate, like we all can, but you don't have the slightest clue that it's obviously anything.

Why would he rush to England to sell Rooney? If someone wants to buy him, they know where we are. It's on TV and everything.

I reckon a deal's already done, and EW's coming back for the presentation/photos/whatever.

Ok precious, it's obviously about Rooney IMO.
