Dont like four four 2 played properly then i take it.

Hummels
Shaw
Gundogan
Sanchez
Reus
Cavani

are 6 for me + a 7th would be either Carvalho/Strootman

No, he was highlighting your ridiculous lineup

Right so degea,Raf,Jones,Hummels.Shaw would be horrendous at the back.
Carvalho/Strootman holding as 6 breaking play and distributing, Gundogan acting the workhorse with a bit of creative gile and force.
Sanchez and Reus switching either side with raf and shaw over lapping, allowing van P to drop deeper<as van gaal likes him to do if you watch how or incoming manager likes to use him>with cavani bursting about ahead.

Ayone who knows about Van gaal knows hes an inovator and will decide his team on the panel hes working with.
Im more than awhere alot on here or certain he ll play 433 ,abd with it being the Cavani thread i dont see him coming bt if he does it will be because Rooneys off.
This happens and we pull a couple of decent midfielders out of bag i can see it happening.

May not what many thinkcertainly isnt ridiculous.

Not sure if serious....

This could be a new breed of muppet.

-----------Degea-----------
Raf--Jones---Hummels---Shaw
-----Carvalho/Strootman----------------
----------------Gundogan-----
Sanchez---------------------Reus
------Cavani-----VanPersie----

Yeah for 442 is "dead",but something looks quite nice bout that line up.

That drive from the back, solid midfield.tricky pace and inventiveness either wing and two world class finishers sharing the burden racking the goals up.

Would prob mean wayne going and a dilemma for Juan and Shinji, but as Scholes said recently some of the best games he had were on the left when Giggs was out.

My muppetry ideals concerning cavani, but i personally think hed rip the league up,but again many factors weigh against this move.
Did we just won the lottary? You realize that your signings will cost 250m+.

 I think you need to revise your post and ask yourself again why we are pointing out why it is ridiculous. It's not the formation, it's not the quality of the players themselves. Therefore what is left that we find ridiculous about it?

Shaw 27
Hummels 25
Gundogan35
reus 40
carvalho 35
cavani 40 prob plus Rooney lol

200 million chief.

Not sure if serius. Reus will cost this year much more than that (although next year he will cost only 35m because of the clause) but ultimatelly neither of them will leave BVB.

Between, S'oton refused 27m so Shaw will cost a bit more.

And do PSG want Rooney? Player + money doesn't happen any more even in FM.

Having a particular slow day mate. Muppet overdrive? Or have i finally broken through the the otherside?:wenger:

Dont play Footbll manager mate, but reckon rooney would fit in behind ibra as opposed to cavanai playing left a lot,or just left out.

Yeah your right but Southampton have to take the offer im sure.
Hummels im not aware of thought reus had releause of 40 mill? could be wrong though.

The clause will become avilable next summer IIRC.

Hummels - if he go - he'll cost 40m (probably even 50m). When the likes of Marquinhos cost 35m and Luiz is rumoured to cost around 50m, Hummels will surely manage to cost as much as him. He has been probably after Thiago Silva the world's best CB (or at least one of the top 3- top 5) for more than 3 years now. Definitely he'll cost much more than 25m.

Jaysus, off my particular list then although when fit and playing hes immense.

The reus situation could really help trigger something if we hard ball 45 millio, our left needs qualty badly.Have a pop Gundogan pry him away, cou;d all help the mystery of getting the best out of Shingi.

I really think the 3 cbs we have need the established controlling figure beside them along with the added benefit it instllis in degea.

50 million though, not a sniff would i through it him, especially when we need so much in midfield.

So we obviously have no interest in Cavani yet you get a muppet fest on here every time some mickey mouse newspaper in italy claims we are after him that then gets picked up by the daily mail

He's a bullshitter, a nobody and his opinion is worthless. Stop posting his tweets.

No chance in my opinion. This transfer just doesnt make sense. Would much prefer to throw that kind of money at Pogba or Vidal

I've only watch full matches of him in the last World Cup and this one but he has looked rubbish every time I've seen him! I must be missing some outstanding club performances because he looks like a cumbersome, peripheral player. I've seen the youtube clips but then you can make anyone look good on youtube. Surely I can't be the only person blind to his apparent ability.

His statistics speak for themselves. The last World Cup was four years ago and he was forced to play in midfield.

He's a beast and one of the most lethal counter attacking-strikers in the world, which he has demonstrated both in the Serie A and Champions League. He's average with his back against the goal and he lacks a bit of technique and vision compared to other world class strikers. He's essentially the Gareth Bale of forwards.

Complete Crap unless we were selling RVP or Rooney which obviously we are not.....

He's been shit literally every time I've watched him.

It is very strange that people who watch him regularly agree that he is a top striker and one of the best in the world on his position, while people who have watched him 3-5 times say that he is shit for missing sitters. The same thing happened after the game vs Chelsea.

I don't want him at United only because we have enough firepower there and IMO, RVP is better than him but I would be glad if we can swapp him with Rooney (although Rooney is the better no.10 but as a pure striker Cavani is much better).

He has regressed a bit since he joined PSG in terms of confidence and overall play, he was a better for Napoli and Uruguay before he went to France. When he is bad he really looks like a donkey but on top form he's scary.

Just because he bossed it in the soft Serie A and Ligue 1 doesn't translate into success into the physical and higher tempo EPL. Would be a pointless signing but there's been a lot of smoke surrounding this transfer. Hopefully there won't be fire.

Just like Rooney, Sturridge, Sterling and Welbeck were bossing it last night while Candreva and Balotelli were struggling with physical and higher tempo EPL players.

So Serie A is better than the EPL based solely on two players' performance against England who have a habit of underperforming on the World Cup stage?

Instead of generalized nonsense, cant you see Cavani play and then take it from there? You mention physicality and tempo. Do you really see Cavani struggling in that regard?

Wow, where did that come from? Straw man fallacy. The burden of proof is reasonably on the person making a claim.

This is what just happened, in case it's a bit difficult to grasp the basics of discussing things:

You say Cavani, a very physical and pacey player, might struggle because the Serie A and Ligue 1 are soft.

I say that's a silly generalization, especially in the light of last night's performances.

You say I say Serie A is better than the EPL.

Serie A defenses and tactical side of the game is still way better than EPL.
