I read somewhere that LVG did not want Cavani. This one seems to be mostly Woody's idea.
I heard on the radio that he had pledged his future to PSG.
Somewhat relieved
Colin has a phobia for both depth and talent.

Maybe he just recognises that some areas need urgent strengthening and others are already overstocked.Colin has a phobia for both depth and talent.
So you'd be happy to spend all that money in a position where we are well stocked?
I'd rather spend it in the middle of the park, where we are so weak.
Shame? More like fantastic and a blessing in disguise. We do not need him for the price that it would take to get him and we can't accommodate him either with the presence of RVP, Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez (if he stays) and the emergence of Wilson.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ions-League-football-Paris-Saint-Germain.html
L'Equipe saying that Cavani would prefer to stay in France as we cannot offer him CL football next season. Shame

I can see what's supposed to be in it for PSG, but what's in it for us?
Agreed. One things for sure; LvG will have known what Rooney has been like, holding the club to ransom and eventually getting stupid wages. LvG won't like a player with that attitude in his squad. Yes, he deals with a lot of egos in the Dutch squad but none of them would hold their respective clubs to ransom not once, let alone twice. If Unite really are serious about bringing in Cavani, I can only see Rooney being moved on.Whats in it for us is Woodward gets to say he brought a "marquee signing" to the club I guess?
If Cavani is bought, either Rooney or RVP would be most likely to be moved.
RVP is LVG's Dutch captain and isn't going anywhere.
Id say Rooney would be shifted but on 300k a week, who'd take him?
It seems like a drastic change but if LVG deems it necessary, Id be behind him.
Hoof it up from defence and just outscore everyone and it'll be reetKnowing United logic, we will buy another elite striker and still not buy a midfielder.

Hehe. At least we will have done it with our own money like. I'd hate to be using handouts from a Russian war criminal. That would be awfulTwitter is full of Cavani to Utd rumors. Supposedly Manchester United have launched a £56m bid.
Those goddamn mancs, trying to buy the league.
He wouldn't but I expect this would be a Woodward signing, he's desperate to make a big splash in the transfer market. Can't see how he would currently fit into our plans, maybe under Moyes and as a replacement for RvP - but not now.

What's it got to do with Welbeck?I would love if we bought Cavani if only to see the Welbeck fanboys on here explode with anger. Unfortunately however the club dont seem capable of landing a big fish like that unless, as in the case with Mata, its handed to them on a plate with chips and peas
