E3 2010

wow it's incredible how the microsoft and nintendo conferences are now merging into one grand circle jerk in my mind.

This E3 is wide open for Sony but I get the feeling they might spend half their time talking about Move.

The original was the absolute tits, I don't own a Wii and never will but if I did I would buy it based on the original alone.

No.

But wouldn't a FPS be better on a better looking platform? I can hardly play shooters on the Wii because of the terrible graphics, sound, and hence, immersion. Not that I'm a graphics whore, but it really is that poor.

This isn't Rare though is it Lambs?

No, and some might say thank feck for that.

What am I missing?

I never owned a Nintendo 64. Tried playing it on an emulator many years later but by then the game had shown its age..

Well that explains your comments then ;)

Goldeneye and Perfect Dark defined console shooters and those who played them look back on them with only great memories.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with bringing them to a new audience, as long as they are every bit as good as the originals (unlike Perfect Dark Zero).
