Douglas Costa

Still no correction from Daniel Taylor. Tsk, tsk. But I guess a correction would involve him admitting that he has zero contacts at United and just trawls forums like RedCafe to dig up stories.

Certainly looks like Gladstony.

None of the lads pictured are Aguilar though as earlier posted.

The information is from Man Utd Portugal's twitter account.

He says the lad in the white is Gladstony, the man to his left is a coach called Osmar Loss, and the four young players wearing ties from left to right are Aguilar de Oliveira, Lucas Evangelista, Agnaldo and Rafael Leão.

Apparently we signed Aguilar de Oliveira from Desportivo in December of last year. The other young players are still with Desportivo.

The ManUtdPortugal people are seemingly the only ones who think Aguilar has signed permanently. They probably come to train and go back.

If he had signed, I'm sure he wouldn't be wearing the same suit as players from another club (assuming the 4 dressed alike would all be from the same team).

Apparently Aguilar is the first player wearing a tie sitting directly to the right of the coach.

Thats meant to be Aguilar...

Aguilar is a striker

He wouldn't be able to join until he was 18 anyway - so even if we've already signed him permanently (unlikely) he'd still be at Desportivo and be dressed the same as the others.

From here:

One of the most recent promises of Brazilian football is a native of Caceres, a city in western Mato Grosso. It is the attacker Aguilar Aparecido de Oliveira, 15, better known as Aguilar. The boy is a member of the Brazilian national team under 17, which is concentrated in Granja Comary in Teresopolis (RJ), acting as a center forward. He will compete in the South American Championship in Ecuador. So young, so young and is no longer a local product: his economic rights belong to the Manchester United of England.

History between SAF and Taylor more like. He wrote an unauthorised bio of Fergie and has been banned ever since...even though allegedly he's(SAF) never read it:lol:

Some of it is pretty hilarious

So has he written bad about him or is it good, and Fergie is just unhappy cause he wrote it.

Gladstony just sounds like a very happy junkie who also runs the country.

There's an interview with Daniel Taylor from a few days ago. He's saying he informed United of the book, but no one told Sir Alex and this is apprently what he's upset about. The book doesn't paint him particularly good or bad, it's just... Sir Alex. It's the story of following him for two years as a journalists, the times he's patient and kind, the times he's yelling at reporters, the odd porky he tells... It's a very good read, actually.

Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu has said the only way Napoli will get 20-year-old midfielder Douglas Costa is if they give them Edinson Cavani as part of the deal.

Reports suggest Costa, who has scored five goals in 21 games for the Ukrainian side this season, is being tracked by the Italians.

However, the former Inter coach has revealed that he would only release in exchange for Cavani, who has hit a sensational 25 goals in 31 games to keep Napoli's Scudetto dream going in 2010-11.

"We got Costa last year and he is doing very well. He is always getting better and he understands our football," the Romanian coach told RadioKissKiss.

"But I don't think Napoli would spend €20 million for him. I like Cavani. If they give him to me I will give them Costa."

Napoli take on Udinese on Sunday night as they try to stay in sight of Milan, who are three points ahead of them at the top of the table.

Latest club to be linked with him is Napoli. Interesting that his manager spoke about a 20 million euro figure. That would be fairly reasonable.
