This annoyed me more. He first puts his face in Ugarte's and then goes down clutching his forehead like he has been head butted.
Until retrospective action is taken in such cases, it will not stop.
 
A shit and unlikeable player, but it's funny how Arsenal are expecting him to score lots of goals and that's not really how he plays, like he's been thrust into a role he can't play as a regular number 9 and can't hack the pressure of it at all. They really need prolific wing players to make it work, and without Saka they're so limited. Sterling is so far from that, they're in trouble now. Can't see them getting close to Liverpool for the league and more than likely won't win anything again.

I think it's easy to separate the 2 situations tbh. There are always gonna go lunatics like you said, they should never affect our ability to find humor in certain situations

A lot of the people who send messages like that are gamblers and start attacking or blaming a player for losing them money, rather than looking at themselves. It’s a nasty situation.

I doubt that with them losing on penalties. If you would have said Odegaard then I could understand that.

What a performance. If it wasn't for the dive, I'd think he was playing for United. So many great clearances in front of goal
 


Deserved to be pushed around after that dive.. you cheat. So happy he missed all those chances and the pen as well.
 
I guess he feels the pressure to dive to win them penalties and red cards for opponents because he doesn’t have much to offer footballing wise.
 
I will also add to say that he is being scapegoated a lot by the media to deflect attention away from Arteta’s own failures.
 
Arteta is to blame for going into the season with Havertz, Martinelli, Jesus and Trossard as key attacking players. Havertz is just about a good player and that’s it.

Not saying other fans don't do disgusting things like this, but Arsenal fans, for whatever reason are a very particular brand of unhinged, pinging from one extreme to the other. Nothing is measured in the way they see or go about things.

Casemiro got sent off for it, which is also funny because he was mostly holding his collar and there was no bad feelings between them, hughes was laughing with him a few seconds later. VAR then decided to snip it down to a few angles that made it look way worse than it was, while at the same time completely ignoring everything else going on in the skirmish.

I dont understand the need for fans to have personal and family attacks on football players.

Regardless of how Havertz played, he is a clear scapegoat for Arsenal fans. I am not hearing any criticism for Declan Rice, who missed 2 chances too, or Martinelli who has been rubbish for 2 years now.

Havertz is Arsenal's to goal scorers this season.

What a vile fanbase.
