Now if he steps out of line on this case there could be consequences, if I read Google correctly, in an NYC Civil case he can be given up to 30 days jail as well as fines if found in contempt of court
Some analyst was saying the judge will be very reluctant to put Trump in jail, that's he's being relatively lenient to avoid criticism of prejudice with the verdict.

He’s doing a stress test, seeing how far he can distort the justice system now so that when he does whatever crazy shit in 2024, the cracks will already be there. He’s destroying norms. A normal defendant would already be sitting in jail. Every moment he’s free is another proof to his fans that he doesn’t bend to mere laws; he’s too powerful - and what they respect or covet now is power. It’s not justice, it’s not even getting special treatment: they worship power and someone unafraid to wield it. That’s why the best outcome would be a stroke / aneurism / heart attack killing him. No one to blame, just a dead pile of shit that can be scooped into a bag and incinerated.

Although again as I've asked in this thread, how would they ever know if they never saw it? If it was released it'd have to be on the web and then you'd have to somehow force them to both watch it and accept it was real which would be tougher than a tough thing.

I've never met any maga americans, everyone I met were great people, but you get some funny situations due to them not knowing much about other places.
I had a family stay with my aunt here after she met them in Boston. They became friends and they cam to Portugal to spend a week. They went from the airport to my house as it was pretty late. The women said she had some gifts for us and I assume she thought she was visiting a really really poor country as she brought us stuff like shampoo and toothpaste and cookies. Next day she went to a normal supermarket and we could tell she was really embarrassed.
Another girl who became a friend spent a couple of months here and she fell skateboarding and got a bit hurt. She refused to go to the hospital. At first we thought she was just trying to act tough but eventually we realized she thought it was going to cost her a lot and she didn't have much money for her vacation. She couldn't believe that she could just go to the hospital, get treated and that would be it, no money involved. I think that experience turned her into a leftist, when she realized the absurdity of the american system.
