These were sloppy spelling errors. But given that these lawsuits aimed to overturn a presidential election, the court nomenclature should have been pristine. Powell, Flynn and Byrne began attacking Lyons as they renewed their argument to Trump: There they go again, they want to focus on the insignificant details instead of fighting for you.

I've met a few officers that reek of "I know more than you because I'm an officer/whatever" mentality. Quite a few enlisted as well. Had an E-4 in our office that was dubbed the Chief Senior Airman of the Air Force as his attitude acted like that of the highest enlisted in the land. And of course he ultimately received a commission and is currently a captain somewhere that people dislike. The kind that would be fragged in the 60s.

Powell is a fecking moron, but you can see the ideology under the surface. Pretty frightening stuff if this was coming from competent people. They were desperate to overthrow the government.

He (Trump) asked : You guys are offering me nothing. These guys are at least offering me a chance. They’re saying they have the evidence. Why not try this? The president seemed truly to believe the election was stolen, and his overriding sentiment was, let's give this a shot.

Their theory was that because foreign enemies had stolen the election, all bets were off and Trump could use the full force of the United States government to go after Dominion.
