He played well like I said he played as he normally does for us. He's not an abysmal player and that run showed what he can do.

You can clearly see by his movement and by his passing that his a good player, he just doesn't work in our system.

His confidence is 0. Fans not supporting him isnt helping either.
I believe its good for him. Let him cope with the pressure. He will turn out better from that situation which hopefully would be at United.
Not a bad game for him. A happy thing to note is he has been involved in the game play more today than in recent games.

you're such a Berbahater. you don't rember his Great flick and a header ?

Exactly. Its true that he never tested Gomez. But his flick and that header towards Fletcher where top notch. 9+++ rating for me.

Thought he did well today but unfortunately for him it is goals that he will be judged on

Only by the fans.

Thought he was very good today, put himself about, won headers, held up the ball and generally caused problem for the Spurs defence. Even Rooney would have been hard pressed to play as a lone striker as well as Berbatov did today against Spurs' central defenders.

If he plays like he did today against Sunderland and Stoke then he will have a whale of a time considering he did manage to have some success against the likes of Dawson and King today.

He was good today, don't know why some posters are criticizing today's performance. Some people really need to set their agenda's aside before reviewing the player's performance.

Anyone who was "made sick" by Berbatov's performance today clearly has an agenda against the guy. I'm still on the fence about him overall, but his performance today was all I could have asked for out of him without actually getting a goal. His work rate and intensity was greater than I think I've ever seen it in his time with us.

which run ? when he fell ?

and this flick to evra. i think it was a poor decision, but it went lucky.

I can't believe that. Berba knew exactly that Ekotto was going to do a mess out of it and that we were going to get a penalty. In my opinion its equivalent to a magnificent goal.

Did ok today.Unfortunately he's a striker.

Thats how I normally feel towards him. Always think he does well, just not in terms of a striker.

Today I thought he well as a striker though, didn't score, but at least he made runs and won some headers.

I don't see how anyone can say he played well today.

He did one good thing all game, and that was the move that led to the penalty. The header towards Fletcher was the type of thing you expect from your striker.

He was average at best.

did well today, not great but atleast he's on the right track and after that play to get the pen, he seemed more confident and better

Still looks well short of confidence, but what impressed me today was his work ethic. He whinged a bit (mainly with Nani who he really seems to share a love-hate relationship with).

Not his best performance for United. But perhaps his most important one, and for me he did step up and do the job required.

He was fairly average but contributed well to the first penalty.

He was average at best.

In my opinion he did 2 good things and you list them down. Great game for Berba 9 rating.

:lol:Nani gave him a royal fecking off after that languid backheel, they don't seem to like each other on the pitch, it's so blatant it's unreal, Nani doesn't 'get' Berbatov.

Nani clearly has an agenda. I dare to say to say that he wants to win the league but its too early to conclude anything.
