No, I don't. And said as much.

A couple of things, though, we can sign Griezmann anyway - Chelsea are completely irrelevant to that scenario and the relationship with Costa has broken down so you have a problem to deal with. Getting him away from the club for six months and getting his wages paid is something I'd expect you to be looking at.

I'm aware it's not a realistic scenario, just observing how the situations are interlinked.

We could easily send Costa out on loan for 6 months abroad, there would be no logic what so ever by sending him to a team that will potentially be our title rivals in the coming season, not to mention that Costa has failed to settle in England so him going to Manchester wouldn't be beneficial for him either

I agree he's a horrible cnut. But we've had plenty of horrible cnuts playing for us in the past and fans didn't care as long as they performed.

Those 'horrible cnuts' always gave their all for this club, not just down tools as soon as the going got tough. Costa just creates more problems that outweigh any potential benefits he may bring.

Not that I think this will happen but Chelsea wouldn't have to agree to anything other than just selling Costa to Atletico in the summer. Everything else could be sorted out between United and Atletico.

The best thing for United is Costa to sign for Atletico for big money this summer, even if they can't register him until January. It might even push through the Griezmann deal.
 
BBC saying Conte first sent him the standard message he sent all the players wishing them a good holiday and telling them to stay fit. Costa replied to that in a "jokey way" and then Conte sent the above message. I'd love to know what the joke message was.

His attitude must be abysmal if he's still not getting any buyers after the season he just had. Chelsea want him out of the dressing room and no-one else wants him in theirs.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy or club tbf!

Well he is turning 29 two months into the season. Chelsea want 60m for him. All the top clubs have strikers. He looks like he wants to move only to Atletico.
 
I always laugh when I see that text by Conte. I bet he sent that text to Costa after getting off the phone with Raiola, Lukaku's agent. :lol:

He better hope he didn't do the same with Kante and Bakayoko ends up getting highjacked.

I think it's more to do with him wanting to go back to Atletico only and the price Chelsea are asking.

It's like China or Atletico only kind of stance.

Missing the start of pre-season to try sort a move back to Atletico apparently. While I have no doubt Chelsea will end up with Morata and not lose out in the end it is pretty amusing seeing the mess the Lukaku transfer and Contes dumping of Costa has caused.

I have seen those 2 rumours aswell but from very dodgy sources so I don't believe crap about them. Well atleast the Fellaini to Barca one, that is just bogus I think. Benteke to Chelsea was rumoured almost a week ago like a day after BBC said we had agreed a deal for Lukaku. Seen it on a chelsea forum aswell. Might be bogus but I think it could be true aswell, not as a first choice striker but more as a back up when Batshuai also leaves.
 
Why's he so desperate for Atletico? He jumped ship from there the first chance he got.

Where else is he supposed to go? Chelsea was a good move for him but he obviously is fond of Atletico considering his time there.

It will not be easy for Everton to do business with Chelsea again. Messed their whole summer up with that move.

They could have, maybe they did. By all accounts this deal has been ongoing for a while now so maybe Chelsea were just biding their time. But us having Rooney to sweeten the deal probably increased Evertons desire to deal with us instead.
