he is not needed , lets offer 150m then . yeah right

Just because there is more than one person holding the same opinion does not make it valid.

I don't like his attitude but to say he's not fun to watch when he's playing not play acting is hard to understand

That's all

Of course it's a valid opinion, if someone doesn't want us to sign a player because they don't enjoy watching them, that's their opinion and it's perfectly valid. Just as you disagreeing and holding a different opinion is perfectly valid. Nobody is claiming to be right or wrong, they're just stating their preferences.

Bet his own mother thinks he's a cnut.

Not the type of person that should be wearing United colours.

I'd rather we take the chance with Morata than sign this donkey. Doesn't deserve to be in our club. You can be a classy cnut or a dirty cnut - he's the latter.

Definitely not a fun / exciting player to watch. He is effective and whether you rate him or not (I don't, for instance; well not that highly anyway) is one thing, but there's absolutely no way he's an exciting player in any capacity. He is an effective player.

Why would Conte say that.. There are so few reliable strikers around in the market now.. Do Chelsea have someone coming up through the youth ranks, who they think will supplement Lukaku??

Well they only had Bitchy Mitsubishi this season so I assume it'll be him and Lukaku next season (providing they get Lukaku).

Not sure why your getting so defensive. Using the old "I'm entitled to my opinion" argument when no one said otherwise.

Don't be surprised if someone questions an opinion of a player in a player opinion thread.

Tell you what's not "gun" this conversation. Which ends here.

Strikers go for big money. Lukaku = 100mil, Griezmann -= 80+mil, Belotti = 80+mil etc etc.

Some comments here stating Chelsea are getting lucky with fees is nonsense! They are selling todays market price that's all.

I cannot stand Costa, he is a dirty player and the prem will be better without him.

Eh? Your reply to his post that he didn't want Costa to play for us because he "wasn't fun" was to list players we already had that are deemed "not fun". I pointed out that just because that's what we have put up with for a while doesn't mean that we should just accept it going forward. You then claimed your argument was that he's far from not fun to watch (and you expected people to induce that from a list of United players?). I pointed out that it's subjective if a fan enjoys watching a player and you think that's being "defensive"?

I'm not surprised that someone is questioning an opinion, I'm just surprised that you do it in such a cryptic and muddled fashion and then take offence yourself when someone disagrees with you.

They're good at selling, so theyll get 50m ish minimum i reckon, and lukaku will be done by end of month

I like Costa. From all the strikers we've been linked to he makes sense and would fit right in. He's a cnut but excellent player Jose has worked with in a title winning season.

A bit unfair by Conte as him along with Hazard were the only reason they were winning games. Costa was, in my opinion, their best player last season.

I wouldn't want him anywhere near United, never like his antics and his face. But if we're so desperate for a prolific goal scorer, and if Mourinho want him and there's no other valid alternative, then I'd not be against the idea of bringing him as he's a great player.

He and Jose have had their spat.. Not a chance that Jose will go for him.

teams he has played for have won the league 3 of the past 4 seasons, but k.
All in which he was the team leading goalscorer in the league and in all comps.

Excellent season at Atletico as well before that.

Sorry, I should rate players in title winning teams. I mean make a better case if you fancy, but don't use bollox like that.

I never said he was shite, I just don't think he's brilliant either. He's an effective player if a system is built around him but he comes with too much baggage. I'm sure there's a reason why Conte wants rid, eh pal.

As good as a player as he is, I really wouldn't want him in our team.

Sign him for 60-70 million
Sign pepe on a free

Our cnut quota will be filled.

More trouble than he is worth. It's quite telling that Conte is more than willing to get rid of a player that was a key factor in Chelsea winning the league.

Plus, I can almost guarantee that his antics will not go down as well with pundits and the press if he was doing it at United. They would be calling for him to be sent off every game.

In a profession riddled with cnuts he sticks out like a sore thumb as by far the biggest cnut of them all. In fact, if you lined up 100 massive cnuts Diego Costa would somehow be all of them.

I absolutely do not want this bag of shit anywhere near the club. I don't care how good he is. He's toxic.

He top scored for all those teams in those campaigns. Atletico haven't won a title since. If you think that's bollox then k

If he was absolutely world class, then Conte would surely be more tolerable of his antics. The fact is, he isn't at that level. Somone like Lukaku - who is labelled as a donkey on here - has scored more than Costa in the past 3 seasons.

Yeah, I think Madrid (Atletico) winning the title was more of an anomaly than anything. Griezmann, since Costa left, has 83 goals in 160 games and Costa had 56 in 96 (in his 2 good seasons there). So, y'know, not much of a difference there really.

As I said, Lukaku has more than him in the past 3 seasons and he's often labelled a donkey. Stop looking for a straw man; I never said he's shite, I don't rate him too highly, you obviously do. Opinions eh...

yes which I pointed that by your logic you were necessitating that he was not fun to watch and then proceeded to go on a diatribe about how people are entitled to an opinion while at the same time criticizing me for having one :wenger:

Like I said before and for the last time no one said that someone was not allowed to have an opinion and that we are allowed to have a different opinion and question someone else's opinion.

I think the mods should close the forum down because someone had the audacity to give a counter argument or observation. Let it go mate just let it go.

He's a cnut who scores goals on a good day, on a bad day he's a thundercnut who has trouble with the basics.

I don't want to see his face again. Can't stand his bullshit antics on the pitch. Do Chelsea fans love him? I would hate to have a player like him in our team.

I think Lukaku will outscore him if / when he goes there. He's a very replaceable player for a team like Chelsea. He has far too many baron patches where he looks absolutely hopeless and his antics are cringy as feck.

Personally i don't think that Griezmann stayed because of the transfer ban. It must have been United who backed out, don't know why, though.

I still believe that a big no. 9 is very important to have in England. Could Griezmann lead the line the way Costa/Lewandowski/Ibrahimovic can?

Another problem is that the season before last season he threw his toys out of his pram. Not sure what Mourinho thinks about that, but at least he was the one who brought him in.

I think Griezmann stayed because of the ban and the United only protected its image by creating the impression of changing interest.

You are right about Costa. Jose might find it very hard to trust him again.

Seems to me Conte was just towing the company line between January and May with Costa, he never truly forgave him for the attempt to move to China and has been planning for next season without him ever since

The transfer ban is 100% the reason why Griezmann will still be an Atleti player come August, our brief to the media that our priorities have changed was just a PR stunt that no one in their right mind would believe

I think all good teams need a smattering of cnut in them.

Mr Costa however is a bit overkill.

I'd hate to play against him. For that matter I probably would not even get in a lift with him.

Wiukd take him all day long...as a player on the pitch.

Don't know enough of his character/attitude off the pitch in the dressing room?!

I hate him, I dont want him, he has to be the most hated footballer by other footballers in world football.

But he would be great for us, i can not argue with that. His link up play and causing trouble is amazing and he seems to have the strikers gift for being in the right place at the right time to tuck it away. He is no bad player.

But i really dont want him, I really fcukin hate him.
