There's some serious money laundry going on around. Chinese clubs are splashing mad cash for Chelsea players in particular.

So what is it with the Chinese market and Brazilian players?

Even after so many injuries and not playing, kaka was still more popular in China than peak form CR

I know we all think he's a bit of a cnut, but could he be our cnut? Did his relationship with Jose suffer in Jose's final year?
Yes please, absolute warrior and one of the best strikers in the world. I'd take him over Lukaku, Belotti, Morata any day of the week.

Can't see it happening, though. Chelsea won't entertain the idea of selling to us. Not with Mourinho in charge, IMO.

No please, he is very tough character to manage as evidenced by the fact that he has fell out with last two Chelsea managers.

Chinese black money used to buy these players for insane prices.

The problem for them seems to be that he doesn't want to take it.

'Costa has already made clear his reluctance to move to China, although it remains unclear whether he has other suitors in Europe.'

So, this time Chelsea can't get their Oscar/Ramires kind of money in.

Can't blame him for wanting to play in Europe at his age. He'll earn loads wherever he goes, might as well enjoy doing it. I don't think Chelsea can hope for a massive amount for him anyway, not when it's them forcing him to move.

Looking at the strikers currently in the squad I can't help but feel that he would improve the team (and at the end of the day, that's all that counts). If Jose thinks he can work with him again, he should go for it in my opinion.

But they can sell him to Atletico and Atletico can loan him to us until Griezmann is free to leave either in January or next Summer. Everybody might just win with that arrangement. :)

A bit of a stretch, I know.

Personally i don't think that Griezmann stayed because of the transfer ban. It must have been United who backed out, don't know why, though.

I still believe that a big no. 9 is very important to have in England. Could Griezmann lead the line the way Costa/Lewandowski/Ibrahimovic can?

Another problem is that the season before last season he threw his toys out of his pram. Not sure what Mourinho thinks about that, but at least he was the one who brought him in.

Its a world cup year. I would be surprised if he moved to China.

Even if he moved to China, how long before he starts angling for a move at his new club. Would any Chinese club pay him 600,000 a week for a few months before he starts flirting with Atletico again.

Would be a major coup for whichever club signs him, he's a top striker when he isn't interested in fighting or creating a ruckus. Scored loads of important goals for Chelsea for first half of the season to help them open a gap but he's obviously a tough character to manage which is the reason Conte is binning him for Lukaku.

Anybody that wants this piece of shit needs his head tested.

I wouldn't enjoy watching him play for us one bit.

Very effective player, but not likeable and not particularly fun to watch him play.

He was off to atleti if we had gotten griezmann, i think he might still go there if he is willing to sit out 6 months

Rooney, Fellaini , Lingard, young

Oh so much fun!

What's your point? That you think we should look for players who are shite to watch because that's what we have had to put up with for the last 4 years?

No I'm arguing that he's far from shite to watch...

He didn't say he's shite to watch, he said he's not fun and he's most definitely not in the minority thinking that. His constant bitching and moaning and play acting and sulking is excruciating to watch and I want him nowhere near this club. I don't want to watch that sort of shit every week.

Just because there is more than one person holding the same opinion does not make it valid.

I don't like his attitude but to say he's not fun to watch when he's playing not play acting is hard to understand

That's all

Why would Conte say that.. There are so few reliable strikers around in the market now.. Do Chelsea have someone coming up through the youth ranks, who they think will supplement Lukaku??

Don't like him at all. But then again I thought the same about Cantona when he was at Leeds.

Maybe he could do a job for a season then go to Atletico?

I can't see Chelsea selling to us anyway.

Why would we even be linked with him
