Could be a blessing for them in truth. They'd be an injury to Costa away from having Torres leading their line again and they'd be fecked. Now they can go out and get a proper #2 striking option.

ExactlyJust imagine if Costa gets injured, though. Even if Drogba's injury isn't serious, if they had to depend on him and Torres for an extended period of time I don't think they get near the title.
They replaced the past it Eto'o with an older even more past it Drogba. Their season hinges on Costa staying fit and being available every match. I think their inability to get rid of Torres is preventing them from splashing on another top striker. They are FFP conscious these days.
Even if he is 36 he'll no doubt stick a few in v us.
