I must've been living under a rock when Robbie Keane played for West Ham, I had to even check Wikipedia as I wasn't satisfied with the picture of him in their shirt :lol:.

A lot of the suggestions in this thread don't really fit the criteria, but this one was genuinely surprising. I thought you had somehow predicted the future; Ribery to Galatasaray is a move that happens at the end of his career, not at the beginning. Went there permanently before his move to Marseilles and the 2006 World Cup that catapulted him into stardom, who knew?
