Did he really play for them?

Magnus Hedman (Sweden's world cup 2002 keeper who also played for Celtic and Coventry) signed for us on an emergency basis when we lost Cech and Cudicini through injury.

Spoke with a strong UK accent of various origins from memory.

For those playing at home, that's Michael Bridges. Former England international, star striker Leeds United during their Champions League semi-final days. Pictured here playing for Lambton Jaffas in the New South Wales Premier League, a state league in Australia.

A few weird ones.

Hierro - Bolton 04/05
Materazzi - Everton 98/99
Mancini - Leicester 2001
Arbeloa- West Ham 16/17
Pires - Villa 2010
Gulasci - Liverpool

Luuk de jong and braithwaite at Barcelona.. oh wait that’s happening right now.

Michael Essien played at Real Madrid and is mostly remembered for throwing a birthday party that nobody attended.

Was that another one of Jose's "I'm signing him so nobody else can" moves?

Possibly

We had been tracking him for a while. I think we tried to sign him the year before after the 2014 world cup, but yeah he hardly played and was loaned back to Serie A after 12 months. Can see Salah and Remy in a lot of those clips, so he clearly only featured late in games or in early cup rounds.

I was reminded in another thread that Cleverely played for Everton. I mean it seems obvious but I can only picture him at United or Watford

Anelka - Liverpool and Juventus

Maradona - Tottenham but that was one friendly match.
Weah - Chelsea
Bonucci - Inter
Baggio - Bologna
Ashley Cole - Roma
Davids - Barcelona
Luis Enrique - Real Madrid
Saviola - Real Madrid

Ivan Campo for Ipswich always feels like a ridiculous part of our history.

If I knew how to post a picture I would..

Don't know much about him - Allan Simonsen, former Ballon d'Or winner, 4-time Bundesliga and 2 time UEFA Cup winner in his Borussia Mönchengladbach days left Barcelona in the summer after scoring the winner for them in 1981-82 Cup Winners' Cup to join 2nd division Charlton Athletic.

Barcelona had just signed Maradona and there was a limit on how many foreign players they could field. He turned down Real Madrid and Spurs.

Time to put that in their trophy cabinet

Cruijff for AC Milan
Just for one match though
When was it?
Considering that they basic ended his coaching career with the drubbing Milan gave barca it becomes kinda poetic.
