Did he really play for them?

I remember when AC Milan signed Kevin Prince Boatang and thinking "why the feck is a club as big as Milan signing this shite player from Pompey?". Then to my surprise, he actually did well there
I remember the exact same with Sulley Muntari, just with Inter instead of AC.

Don't know how to add pictures unfortunately but was going through some of our old squad and it had escaped my notice that Wes Brown played for Blackburn and Saha played for Lazio!

Heard someone mention this today and I was triggered

Suker at West Ham

Eto'o: basically almost every club in his career apart from Barcelona and Inter, perhaps Mallorca.

Not sure if already mentioned in the thread but...

Park Ji-Sung at QPR

In the dark days before Moyes (yes you heard that right), Everton used to sign anyone who was once a top player but who was after one last pay day.

Pato at Villarreal.
Pires at Villarreal.

Jari Litmanen for Hansa Rostock
Coutinho for Inter
Del Piero for Sydney
Shearer for any other club then Newcastle

Since we're playing against former United player Guillermo Varela, here's a reminder of his short spell with Real Madrid on loan (mainly in their Castilla side, but he was included in the Champions League squad in the same season).

Loads of gray hair in that picture. And a snake in Ginola's pants

Hughes has looked middle aged since he was about 30.

Magnus Hedman (Sweden's world cup 2002 keeper who also played for Celtic and Coventry) signed for us on an emergency basis when we lost Cech and Cudicini through injury.

Bloody hell, I looked up when he played for Everton. He played a single season for them in 2000. He's 56 now so that would make him 36 in that picture
