A legendary rocket launcher.
A legendary LMG
a legendary Titan Helemt (I don't have a Titan, so it's gone in storage)
And 4 or 5 other legendaries that just rolled rares or greens.

I got him Friday night and then not since, I assumed you only get one crack at him.
It might be he only shows up for one night of the three, I thought he was supposed to be there all Friday through Sunday.
No idea, he's definitely not there anyway. Not sure I have enough coins for the armour anyway, got 9 so think that's the cost for a weapon.
I'm pretty sure that Xur fella leaves Sunday morning our time. Maybe he likes to get home to watch the bake off.

Your best bet is to get marks and then buy legendary gear once you reach rank 2. I've not got one legendary drop my whole time playing. I had to buy all my gear.
Did today's daily on level 28 version, while I'm still 27. Was quite a challenge but Brutus down
So is this game worth it? Is it enjoyable?
Really depends what you want from it. If you judge it just on single player, the story is a let down. If you do the strikes which are multiplayer its a lot of fun especially with friends. And pretty much everyone who has done the raid seems to agree that its the best part of the game so far, really fun even if you're getting whooped.
But to get to the raid you need to farm for a bunch of hours to get to level 25+
What level do you farm the cave at? If you pick a higher level than 7 or 9 do you experience more engrams or better quality engrams?

I am more than half to vanguard level 2.
If I buy one of the bracelet things from one of the other factions, will that mean I stop getting points towards my Vanguard levels?
Only if you wear it all the time. The trick is to make a choice on which faction you want early on, but at the same time it doesn't matter too much as you can change faction at any point.
At this stage should I just wait until I am on vanguard rank 2? I am more than half way. or should I just go and choose a faction?
If you do enough strikes and patrols to earn the marks then I'd just wait, their gear is just as good as the faction stuff.

I'm not gonna post any links (spoilers) but I'm sure you can google it yourselves... there are people have gotten into (glitched) additional areas on Earth. Something to think about for those that are talking about the amount of areas and content.

A fair bit, but only because I have absolutely no luck with strike and crucible rewards.
I got more rewards yesterday than I have done over the rest of my time playing the game.
I'm already Level 20 and have enough Light to get me to about 22 or 23 but i don't wear it because it's WEAK and I seem to get destroyed when I do? My Chest plate is like 230 DEF with 0 Light but have one with +7 Light for 175 max DEF...screw that!
Just wondered if I play Patrol at Level 7 or 9 in the cave will I get lesser engrams or more or less Blues than if I played it at Level 20, or if there was no difference. If no difference I'll just play it on easy!

Played some Crucible yesterday where I finished with a KD of 2.90 and 30 Kills and everyone else in the game got 2 rewards and I got 0. I understand it's random but I got trolled big time!
So yesterday I did the farm cave twice first time out of nowhere a bunch of highlevel bad guys Fallen, Hive, Wizards all with yellow health bars. They just kept coming. I have looked it up but found nothing...was this Bungie telling people to stop farming that cave?

Same happened to me. After about 10mins i got a random event that wasn't much of a problem. 10mins later all hell breaks lose. About 5 Knights and 2 Wizards jump me and they don't stop coming?!
@afrocentricity I haven't done the raid, I know it takes hours though and I'm on Xbox. I don't know 5 people I could do it with on there. I would like to do it, but it's not practical sadly.

Reached level 21 today, so finally able to join some of your guys now. Just farming that cave for the moment, so hopefully get a few decent upgrades aswell
Happened to me too. It seem's to trigger if there is loads of people farming in a particular area for a long time. There is a place in Venus if you go through the Academy that happens aswell. The waves do eventually stop after a couple goes though and it goes back to normal after killing them.
What gun is everyone using to farm the cave?
I'm using an Auto Rifle but its ammo capacity is 23, it's the strongest i've found but with a bit of recoil and sometimes i'm not getting all the enemies at once.
Tried my best Scout Rifle but that didn't work out either. Guessing I need an Auto with larger magazine.

It doesn't really matter. When you run out of ammo just run into the cave, grab the dropped ammo and run back out. They continue respawning once u get far enough away.
I use my main weapon though the Auto Rifle.
Yeah I'm finding that probably once every 2 or 3 spawns one or two are getting out and running off because I'm a bullet short and it's just taking extra time I'd rather spend farming. If my clip was a couple bullets larger I would be fine!
While walking around I picked up a blue engram, decoded it and got another legendary primary weapon

Another pulse rifle which can be turned into full auto mode. Both weapons are similar but Strange Suspect reduces cooldown of grenades for every kill, while with Fair and Square, when a round is missed the gun fires a fourth shot. Not sure which one to use now really.

had a nice farming session at the cosmodrome cave yesterday, got myself a Exotic Machine Gun, the Thunderlord: http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Thunderlord would have liked something esle as I already had that Zombie apocalype one. Also got a Legendary Shotgun called the Invisible hand, sounds like a wanking technique

Farmed the cave today. Turns out it works. Got about 7 blue engrams. All decoded into fecking green or blue items
