Sorry guys, have to be up for work in the morning, don't think we had a chance on that anyway
Was that a level 22 one? Feck me I'm under geared, was dying so easy.
FFS I'm getting trolled in my quest for some decent legendary items. Finally got a beautiful legendary helmet and it turns out to be for fecking Warlocks!? What am I meant to do with it?
If only there was a way to pass it on, I'd take it off your hands for sure. What model is it? If you plan to create a warlock at any point in future, you can keep it in vault for then.
It's a "NERIGAL SAVANT III". I do have a low level Warlock but I'm not sure I can be bothered to put the time into another character. Would be great if we could trade items.
Did you do the Nexus strike? There's two different strikes on Venus.I just beat the boss on the Venus strike and didn't get the bounty for it
Don't know about post-level 20, but I always keep an eye out for easy bounties each time I log on. Kill 100 or melee 30 without dying, X number of precision kills, etc. Also, kill 10 hive or fallen Majors or Ultras can be farmed easily on Moon Patrol. What's the best way to level? Crucible, story missions, patrol?

Got a Exotic fusion rifle and two legendary pieces of armour after finishing one crucible match before
Thanks for that. So really level 20 is like the current level cap and then after that armour and such gives you level boosts while your wearing it really.Blues = "Rare" armour. The best consistant gear you can get from drops. The purple "legendaries" you get from good luck or from spending vanguard and crucible marks from doing that content
At level 20 you no longer level up from exp. Instead for every level you would have got from the exp, you get a "mote of light" which can be spent at The Speaker or the Agent of the Nine vendor that comes on Fridays
Instead you have to get armour drops or spend marks on gear with +light on it. At a certain amount of light you are awarded level 21, 22, etc up to 28 I believe is the max so far.
But the level is based on that armour you are wearing. If you take off the armour with +15 light or whatever, that took you to "level 21" then you'll be level 20 again. So the idea is to get better armour and upgrade it.
I believe this is probably so that people can start playing later on and they can catch up. They'll have to level to 20, but in 3 months they'll probably have added easier ways to get gear or new gear that you can get to catch you up on light. That way the game will feel more accessible to people who werent playing from the start
That's true. As it stands there's only really the shitty patrols and bounties which are dull as feck. It's a real shame they didn't make a good story to go along with it. The settings are all there, the bad guys IMO all look good and the tower could be like the place in mass effect if they had a load of dialogue and perhaps different side missions
OK im retarded, i have looked online as to what to do after reaching 20. It makes no sense
What the feck is light and orbs and shit?
I still need to complete the game and do some strikes, so I want to make sure I am still levelling up. What is the first thing I should do?
I have a couple of strange coins, but the game doesnt tell me what they are for
How do I get my vanguard rank up?
There's a vendor only available in weekends you can buy items (including exotics) from with strange coins.I have a couple of strange coins, but the game doesnt tell me what they are for
