I'm still level 12 and struggling to get into it now, the only thing interesting me is the thought of getting more trophies, that's pretty sad considering the build up to this game.

It's a shame the game doesn't really allow for more customization, atleast with colours. I just put whatever armour on is best and forget how my guy looks.

No I'm not confused, its available on PS3 and 360 therefore its not a next gen blockbuster, its a cross gen blockbuster.
The Witcher 3 and Metal Gear Solid V will be the first next gen blockbusters.

Is that the 'melee' attack that explodes and kills anyone within a pretty big radius? If so, yeah, it's ridiculously overpowered.
Yep. I have a knife and they can just jump in the air and slam down, killing everyone nearby.

I don't get the reviews at all tbh. Sure, there were massive (perhaps unrealistic) expectations that don't help...but you can't tell me this is on Killzone ShadowFall's level (metacritic 73). It's miles better than that, and the other shooters that have come out for next gen consoles thus far.
Warlocks have crepe paper shields and virtually no armour and are really slow though.
Titans and Hunters have the upper hand on Warlocks in most departments.

Yeah true, the multiplayer is fun. I'll give it a day or 2 and I might get the urge to play again, I'm probably just a bit burned out from gaming.
I don't really use PS+ but if I ever want anything like this destiny thing then I just buy 3 months at £11.99 less costly than a year especially if you won't use it

So I just found out that you have to do the upcoming raid with six people on your friends list. That rules me out then, I don't even know 6 people with the game. Why not have matchmaking for the raid like they do with fireteams? What a weird game, I think the reviews are spot on.

At 20 theres quite a bit of grinding the same areas as the rest of the game, but with enemies a lot harder. And tbh thats not a problem for me, I've been doing those missions back to back for a few days
However the loot distribution and more importantly the progression is quite annoying. Its completely random but I found myself getting gloves or helmets that are "rare"/blue but downgrades on what I already have time and again. Because it seems to be a random level between 16 and 20 gear each time.
And a bunch of times you get those cryptogram things that you take to the npc, and it'll be a blue one you picked up suggesting you might get a blue item... And then like 90% of the time its a green item.
In fact for levelling up the crypagraph person I got something in the mail, a purple cryptogram. When he activated it for me, it turned into 3 blue cryptograms. When I activated each of the 3 blue cryptograms it gave me 3 green items.

Servers were a nightmare for me tonight. I must have tried to play 6 different strikes and only managed to complete one as I kept getting kicked from them all - annoyingly usually just before facing the final boss.
Levo and I did a strike ourselves and experienced the same issue, but at least with that we were both able to rejoin the fireteam. With the strike playlist when you're playing with randoms you can't really do that.

Got them from that merchant who uses strange coin. Was relatively cheap to be honest! You should see them in the flesh!

What's the best way to get the strange coins in your opinion? I've only got two and been playing for ages.
I'm not sure how I got to 14 to be honest. I think doing the weekly strike earns you 3. Strikes in general and crucible tend to reward you if my memory serves me correct
Thanks. Hopefully I'll have better luck with the server tomorrow. Won't be able to get 13 coins before Xur disappears, but I can see the sun breakers appearing again or even something better in future so waiting nearly a week won't be so bad...
