feck sake, it's bullshit someone can leave and you can't get a replacement. Died twice to gorgoth and some that just fecked off. Had to abandon the whole thing.
 
I really wish they had an 'Orbit to tower' option as well. It does my nut in how to go back I have to fly into orbit, then fly into the tower, enduring two long loading screens in the process.

You can invite a mate...
 
They could do it like Watchdogs, where you just choose to have your games as public/private. And if you have a space it'll invite other people during their own mission so you can jump in together, even half way through.

Yup, we've been saying it since beta, shit even alpha... gotta think it'll be coming at some stage.
 
I just bought a PS4/Destiny bundle on my lunch break. I have the place to myself tonight after work so it's going to be a fun night of pizza and shootyshooty.

I'll be on later, sometime after half 7. Only level 9-10 at the moment but could probably get up to 12 by then.

Am I wrong thinking there's 5 areas in the game so far? Is there 4?

Ok done the first mission and now I'm at the city or something. I'm seeing lots of other players. How do I join you lot?
 
When you go to orbit before you choose to start your next mission you need to invite players to your fire team.

I'll be on later, ill look you up if you are still playing.

I'd like to have another go later today. Just finished Venus now and will probably need to level up a bit before tackling the next planet.

Beating the Gate Lord was easier than I thought.

Meh. It felt skimpy enough when I thought it was 5 areas, nevermind 4.

So pretty sure that means there are only 4 maps on the multiplayer so far. That's fecking awful. Like, seriously just awful.

Two weeks before they start dolling out the new content based on the feedback they get.
 
Well, as it stands right now... I'm enjoying the hell out of this game. Whether or not it has legs remains to be seen. I think this game could potentially be massive though, as long as they keep the updates and content coming. Some free and some paid obviously.

Acti saying they made 500 mill back on Destiny in 24 hours... thats fcuking huge.

Eh, was pretty much expected. I remember reading something a while back where the developers said to lower expectations of how many planets will be immediately available. More will come through updates. Whether it'll still be strong in a couple of months time when GTA5 will probably be out along with other games we'll have to see.

Just did him too, wasn't bad. The previous mission was way easier.

I'm up for doing the Venus strikes too
