What's the deal with this Cryptarch character? I take it I'm meant to hand my banners into him for money, but is he also the best guy to be buying what seems to be a lucky dip for weapons & equipment? Or is it better to just buy from a normal vendor? Seems you get some reputation for buying through him but I don't know if that's of any use.

Yeah I've bought it now, it's pretty good tbh. They need to put voice chat their though when your not playing with your mates

Level 14. It's good fun when you've got a couple of mates in your fire team, I must say that I've been playing for two days now and I haven't got the slightest clue what the feck is going on in the story. My mate is level 20 already. Started a few bounties which will help in levelling up, haven't played the crucible yet, as I don't really get on with online shooters. Good game so far, shame about the lacklustre story line.
